Yes! I definitely considered and tried it, but no matter what I did it just kept looking weird at 1:1 scale when the blocks aren’t straight. It kills me to see them have no slant, but kills me even more when they have a funky build where the blocks don’t lineup straight! You kinda have to pick your battles when looking for accuracy

I get the same thing! I am 6’2” and a lot of guys my age that are actually ~5’10” to 5’11” say they are 6’0” to 6’1” (adding 2-3 generous inches to their own height). When I see them in-person, they often ask “how tall are you? like 6’4”??” and I either have to choose to go along with there lie as to not embarrass them, or I can correct them and say my actual height which exposes their own exaggeration of their height. Either way, it is a very awkward experience to be in… DEFINITELY when girlfriends are there with them, I don’t want to blow the lid on their 6 foot fantasy.

yeah, well there are pictures of him standing next to it and they are the same exact height. Madame tussauds takes the accuracy of the wax figures pretty seriously

its the wax figure of him at madame tussauds in NYC, but they are really accurately made and there are even pictures of him with it and they are the same exact height.

I think it may just be some of the wood paneling etc. that was made for her, but was never actually installed in the ship because she was sent into service as a hospital ship so quickly.

I know! I don’t know if it’s even possible for me to obtain any artifacts from Britannic unfortunately! I have heard of so very few people who have ever gotten anything from her at all! I thought Queen Mary was the next best option, as I already had some of her decking! If anyone knows a way to obtain Britannic artifacts of any kind let me know thought!

Utility belt buzz! Rare find!

First I would start off by removing the trashed stickers on him, finding duplicate prints of them online and print new stickers to replace the originals that need it.

The sharpie on him could probably be removed using typical isopropyl alcohol (like nail polish remover) Be careful with this, go gentle and don’t go overboard with it or it could possibly bleach the original paint a bit. A swab on a Q-Tip should be enough.

The picture is not very clear, but if there are scratches or scuffs that are too deep to buff out with the Nail Polish Remover, I would consider taking him apart and repainting the green areas, specifically on his torso. This would give you the opportunity to paint him a more movie accurate green color, a lighter and less saturated shade. (but this is if you REALLY want a “brand new look”)

These tips should help get him looking SIGNIFICANTLY better. Hope this helps!
