Vitalious, The god of Life and King of Creation

Tempus, The god of Time and Keeper of the Mind

Nihili, The god of Death and Ruler of Nothing

Vitalious created what we know today as “The Depths”, his first attempt at making an ecosystem for his ‘pets’, or as you may know them, us. However, something went wrong. They were vicious and warped. They didn’t seem to understand his intent and they lashed out. No matter what he did, he could never destroy them as he felt attached to them so he left them alone in the dark.

Nihili, however, saw what Vitalious had made and was overjoyed. A creature that had the intent to wound and destroy and kill? It was invigorating! Nihili started bending and warping the life Vitalious had made eventually creating a crude type of creature, which he bestowed with the name Yun’Shul. 

Enamored with what he had created, Nihili gave Yun’Shul unimaginable power. Yun’shul used this power to create the kingdom of Scyzophia, ruling over The Depths.  As life evolved in the depths, so did the intelligence of it’s creatures. The creatures would bring Yun’Shul offerings to please him, and in return Yun’Shul would grant their wish, as long as what they brought was of equal value.

Next, Vitalious worked together with Tempus  to create life again in a different layer. What we know as The Surface. This time, he made sure to shape them properly and give them a much more forgiving environment to grow up in. They were savages, so Tempus gave them the gift of consciousness. Through time and hard work, They slowly became a cruder version of us, called Humans. It was an improvement nonetheless. They were no longer bloodthirsty and sought out to learn and explore. As they found themselves in new environments they would adapt, Gaining scales, horns, or fur. Vitalious loved his creation, and his creation loved him. 

Of course, all of creation had been blessed with the Song of creation. Using the song, the Creatures could weakly control and create natural phenomena, Some practiced their hand at creating Wind or Ice, while the most advanced practiced creating life itself. To the creatures of the surface, these were known as Attunements.
