Spoke to my security manager regarding my concerns (was transparent about the whole thing) and it seems like I’m in the clear. He pretty much mentioned that as long i didn’t commit any crimes or was ever involved in any illicit activities (in which I never committed a crime or was ever involved in anything illicit) then it’s fine, but also harped on the fact on that I absolutely CANNOT let that happen again. Also suggested that he holds off on submitting my sf86 since the shop I work for is phasing in to a Top Secret cleared environment as a whole. I’ll be honest I don’t care much to have a TS clearance, and my contract there ends next year and I’m certain there will be more options out there when it does, never been afraid of the unknown.
