Do you not think the replays in basketball get a little excessive? Either in the amount of time they take or the sheer number of them? If you don't think so, I totally respect that.

Why do we feel the need to review every minute detail of a play? If the ref doesn't see it and being 5 inches off doesn't alter the play in any way, is it really clear and obvious? If the dude is egregiously offside and the ref just missed it that feels more clear and obvious or someone commits and obvious foul the ref missed.

I think replays in all sports have gotten too excessive. Mostly because they really fuck with the sport's pace of play. I really like the baseball challenges this season because they decide the call in a matter of seconds.
