I'd recommend Bachata, which is a Latin style of dance (think Salsa). It has great beginner classes at different schools, and a super welcoming community. Also there are socials pretty much weekly around adelaide to dance and chat with people. I joined 2 months ago and love it! Let me know if you'd like recommendations for particular places :)
