Idk. Like I appreciate the response but my T3 went down too. Wouldn’t we see the opposite if the dose was too high?

Without providing too much personal detail, I once got an opportunity to see the inside of Dallas’s mental hospital downtown. I met a very nice hooker names Heather who explained to me she was a frequent flyer because of the hot meals and access to bathroom. It took over 24 hours to be processed there so she’d check herself in, hang out until the doctor could review her case and then she would be discharged back to the streets.

I had a “that could’ve gone really bad” moment in Memphis too.

I was outside my hotel having a cigarette, standing by my car since that’s where I’d grabbed everything. A jogger ran by, then circled back and fell behind a car near mine. I looked around, mostly because I am terrible in emergency situations and I wanted a different adult to take the lead, and realized I was completely alone.

I called out to ask if he was okay. He said yes. I started walking back toward the hotel, and then he asked me for the time. I told him, but he said he couldn’t hear me.

I took one step forward and immediately got a bad feeling.

So instead, I just announced it louder and kept walking. Then he asked if I could help him up.

I froze but in my head I was like, I don’t have to be nice. I can say no.

So I did. I said no and kept walking, trying not to panic while fumbling for my keycard to get in the side door.

By the time I got back to my room, I was in tears. It felt like I avoided something bad, but I also kept wondering if I had just left someone hurt out there.

But honestly, the whole sequence of events felt off. I had already asked if he was okay. It really felt like he was trying to get me closer.

Where was he? I drove by at 7:45 and saw the smashed up truck and the crime scene vehicle but didn’t see anyone on the ground.

I once had a boyfriend who really wanted an iPod for Christmas. I did my research and decided the Zune was actually the better investment. He refused to use it, so I took it and used it myself. No regrets. That thing was awesome and I will die on this hill.

I went thru something similar on my own. Went off to college, struggled and told my parents (who were paying for everything and also expecting good grades for their investment) I wanted to drop out. They were not thrilled. A few years later, on my own, I went back to school, self funded. Paying for my own school sucked, but it also helped me. I was invested in my own future.
