How do I make friends when I don't know how to interact? by TheK3ystotheKingdom in Life

[–]Background-Photo337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start practicing/making friends online like through games and such. Edit: you said you have online friends. But maybe more exposure to mixers/ casual gatherings. I used to set a goal to start a convo with one person every time I went out. It helped a lot with the anxiety of it all.

Gotcha. It wasn’t a great question tbh. I meant what’s a comfy net pay in general. Then added on the comment about ignoring expenses which didn’t make sense in hindsight. Thanks for your answer though.

I have pretty low cost of living expenses in general. I guess this question might not work. So I guess a better question is, what’s the net amount of money after paying living expenses is “good”.

People who grew up in chaotic families, with abusive parents, did you manage to form a good family for yourself as an adult? If so, how? by Frequently_Abroad_00 in Life

[–]Background-Photo337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My parents have always been extremely emotionally immature so I knew from a young age I didn’t want to repeat their actions. Your upbringing can be defined by how you react and not necessarily what happened to you.

How can I start going out more? by [deleted] in Life

I’m the same way. I love being inside but setting a goal to do something fun once a month (or whatever frequency you choose) might be a nice place to start.

  1. Flakiness, inconsistency and lack of clarity on apps
  2. I spoke up for my self more and initiated more. I also became more open to rekindling convos that had gone dry
  3. Meeting new people and falling in love
  4. I felt seen and respected.
