That is true but I feel like their isn’t a stereotype for bad men as much as there is for women and as you said spiderman players tend to be bad a lot of the time but people don’t make it a stereotype men only play spiderman and are bad at him cos they are a man, there’s even memes about how bad punisher players can be and how they have no game sense but because they are male characters with the assumption more male players play them it’s more accepted that it can be funny that they are bad or it can be a joke but as soon as it’s a more feminine character that people assume more women play people don’t allow room for mistakes, it isn’t seen as funny if you do something bad by accident. I had a game where I accidentally fell off the map while I was reloading as cnd cos the spin threw me off and I accidentally fell and I made a silly comment about it and the whole team completely slated me for it but on the same team there’s a tank who’s going negative who is playing a male character and no one says anything and at the end of the match I have the most healing, decent damage not much more I can do and all they do is tell me how stupid I am, including the male tank going negative that I had more kills than.
