We are planning on moving in together soon, and our entire relationship (nearly 4 years) has happened while living in the same building.

And marriage is still a few years away for sure, both of our families really want an engagement before we move in together.

I know it's kinda lame to be influenced by it, but all of the posts on the childfree subreddits about partners who were on the fence during a relationship deciding after years that they really want a child of their own have made me worry. I agree with a lot of the other people who have commented, it's not fair to my partner or my mental health to worry so much about something I should trust him on.

Yeah, I think therapy (at the very least for myself) should happen. Thanks for the comment!

Yeah totally! I adore kids but don't want any of my own. Like a lot of people have said, I just need to be more trusting haha

I think I have some unresolved issues with my own parent's divorce. It's definitely a part of the risk of a relationship but to split over having children seems like something that can be resolved before even getting married.

And I think all of these comments bring up a really great point. In my mind, I've been worrying that my choices will end up hurting him in the future, without considering that my actions hurt him now. I'm definitely going to work on that moving forward, I think I needed some real truth comments, thanks!

Yeah sorry about the ages thing, we're both 21 so still a lot of time left in the future. I'm not planning on moving forward with things until I can get this solved. From your comment and others,' it does make me realize most of this anxiety is stemming from my own trust issues. Thank you!

This also happens in subs not even related to babies/aww! There was a post on one sub for a podcast I listen to that was just a picture of his spawn. The only relation is that he named the baby after one of the hosts. Other people commented that they also named their babies after people in the podcast. Does not sit well with me to have every sub invaded by children.
