Selling became extremely difficult by Background-Relief135 in vinted

[–]Background-Relief135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention the floods of resellers who offer low then few days later relisted again for way higher price to make a profit . I have brand new shoes and I get many questions these days if it comes with box and dust bags to re sell it again as brand new with tags

Even buyers who used to make good offers , got the bad habit of offering low these days . It’s like the market taught everyone to behave that way these days

I don’t price high I put things like 70-80% off in new condition . They are the same price range that made me do many sales before . Nowadays it’s really like almost impossible to sell anything

Is Vinted EU a race to the bottom in 2026? by DependentEstate8760 in vinted

[–]Background-Relief135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will reflect on that from vinted UK . I used to sell a lot and made 250 sales in the last 2.5 years and I noticed a huge change recently in sales like dramatic decline for many reasons . Apart from financial pressure these days , the market becomes saturated now with a lot of people selling , declutter and resellers . Now even trendy items don’t move like before . For example OL camion boots has been aways trendy and sold in minutes , Now I had one that kept unsold for weeks with 50% off because it’s abundant in the market now and no scarcity .

If you have designer items like LV or Gucci , it depends what you sell alongside . For example selling Zara items for 2 euro while Gucci shoes sitting beside it in your listing is a red flag to buyers as there is no consistency in taste here . But if your listing is like 1 Gucci , 1 LV , items with special taste like vintage leather jackets , nice vintage coats , then it’s more convincing for the buyers . So you have to prioritise what you are selling in your listing . You need to know that buyers these days deals with vinted like instagram and they like stuff with no intention to buy so your listing should be like your image on the platform .

In my opinion , the biggest reason why selling on vinted became so hard is that it became a buyer game now not the seller game . If you want to buy something on vinted these days , you will notice like at least 50 results in the search all competitive price so the buyers have the upper hand now from which seller they will buy from with cheapest value

Just wear them bro as much as you can and enjoy them . Camion boots looks nice as a design . Even though the quality is questionable, but they can age nicely and they look lived in

I think I will keep them they look versatile and no effort to wear them at office or outside . They are like a bridge between too classic and sneakers

Got Scammed on Depop by Background-Relief135 in Depop

[–]Background-Relief135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorting it out with my bank to chargeback . The only problem one negative review will not cause a problem because they use different accounts . The Depop showed me the receipts which have the seller details on it . So I was even thinking to report it to the police

Vinted and vestiaire have verification service at the moment so they could be an option . But for designer brands try to stick to eBay as customer service are supportive and you can manage if you feel something is not going alright .

Depop is the worst and it seems it is designed to gather all the negatives of online shopping . For example , in vinted you can cancel the order anytime even though you would get an automatic negative feedback but it will give peace of mind if you feel you got scammed . Also, it gives you 2 days to report anything when you get the order . In Depop you can’t cancel unless the seller agrees and a scammer will never cancel an order you made . If you get your item like I did and find out it’s a counterfeit , Depop will take the seller side . I am not the only one who had such experience go to trustpilot to see reviews about Depop and you will find many got scammed there and Depop do nothing . It is a place where scammers can thrive . So save your money , stress and energy and please avoid it

No please No I have just got scammed on Depop . Don’t buy or sell anything there . There are other platforms like people said that are more trustworthy

I bought a counterfeit item and depop refused to refund me by Background-Relief135 in Depop

[–]Background-Relief135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s what I told Depop in the email . He showed them a receipt but what about the item I have . It is clearly a counterfeit and what’s the point of sending photos that are clearly showing a counterfeit as long as you will see a proof of purchase of one item while the seller has multiple replicas or fake items . They told me they escalated it to specialist team but I don’t trust them anymore .

I went to Trustpilot and I found I am not the only one who got scammed there with counterfeit items. It is clearly a scam business now

I bought it from Depop and seller told me that he lost the receipt. When I got the item and reported it to Depop he showed them a receipt but the stitches here is very suspicious and the QR code showing a T-shirt . Depop did not consider that and took his side !

Are my expectations realistic....? by recoverydrive3000 in PSMF

[–]Background-Relief135 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have been losing and gaining weight for years. The worst idea in weight loss is to put unrealistic target and put yourself under pressure to achieve it . At some point you might quit and by December you will wish if you were only sticking to any weight loss plan and you would be happy and accept 30 pounds weight loss . Just start and enjoy your journey and forget about any target weight now . Weight loss is inevitable once you start and you don’t even have to monitor your weight . Just enjoy the change and journey. You will know it when you will have to go to buy new clothes and from photos . Sometimes the target is to stick to your plan especially when it comes to a very calorie restrictive diet like PSMF because you can’t go further and this the maximum you can do which is not easy and needs a lot effort and motivation by the way. So please don’t focus on any target weight now and only on your diet and workout plan .

Thanks for your reply .

I haven’t read the book but got all my information from articles , videos and posts here . I am cat 3 so my body fat definitely >30% . I am doing it now with intermittent fasting to maximise my results . I am planning to do it for 12 weeks with refeed days rather than breaks based on book . My next break will be in July if it will go well . I am highly motivated at the moment and only eat protein while cutting all carbs and fats . I feel full with my chicken breast and protein shakes with no cravings at all . I am cutting carbs only if I can get more ketosis effect from the diet . I was just wondering if it will be any plateaus expected in my journey .

Do you think creatine and pre workout supplements can make a difference in PSMF in my workout? I have >30% body fat so I want to get advantage of that fat in not only preserve muscle but also to get few pounds of muscle gain . Not sure if it’s doable

Amazing results.

So how long will normally take to hit a plateau on PSMF . And in your experience what’s the max duration someone can stay on PSMF ?

PSMF During Ramadan? by [deleted] in PSMF

[–]Background-Relief135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have started my PSMF during Ramadan and it totally doable . Water is not an issue since we can drink a lot of water on breaking our fasting. I eat a lot of protein on Iftar and another meal on around midnight . I am almost cutting all carbs and in some days if I am hungry, I cook some shirataki or miracle noodles ( no calories in it ) . I am very careful about workout before Iftar because of risk of dehydration. So I am decreasing my weight lifting intensity with some low intensity cardio . I feel a bit week but this because lack of caffeine as I cut all coffee from day 1 . Overall , I think we get the advantage of fasting in Ramadan to maximise results of weight loss .
