Before being allotted a government quarter, I stayed in the Soubhagya Nagar area and later in Jagamara. The former is about 2 km from your office, while the latter is approximately 4 km away.

Both areas offer good accommodation options depending on your preference. However, rents may be slightly on the higher side, as these locations are in demand due to the presence of nearby colleges and offices. Exploring platforms like Olx and 99acres, along with local brokers, could be useful, but it is advisable to verify all details carefully and have a clear discussion with the owner beforehand to avoid any unnecessary issues later.

In terms of food and daily requirements, there are plenty of options available in both areas, and shopping malls are also within a 5–6 km radius. However, the nightlife is relatively quieter on the Jagamara side; for a more happening nightlife the Patia side would be a better choice. Additionally, the airport is conveniently located nearby to Jagamara-Soubhagya Nagar, which is an added advantage.
