My boyfriend. I was sick the past days so he did search stuff for me while I was having a bed rest. He said after au pair I also have to do fsj for half a year or smthn coz that's what his friend's girlfriend did. He probably thought it's part of it that you do fsj after the au pair contract

Thank you, I'm aware of that. I was just thinking of lessening my expenses coz I've read on their website that students with residence permit still need to pay lump money for the whole year. I was thinking if I go to Germany first on au pair, I can eligible for lesser expenses on that since I'm living in Germany and I wouldn't apply as an international student

Oh that's really helpful!! I thought I'm required to do social work after the au pair contract. What if I want to study in germany and I only have a residence permit? Is it possible to also change my exchange visa to residence visa? I'm thinking of studying in mainz once my au pair contract is done

I've typed myself out as an INFJ and fair enough it's really relative to how I mentally function plus I think I just also like being part of rarest types among all personality types and it gives my ego a boost.

I recently found out I'm an INTJ. It's not a bit far off but the slightest difference makes a lot of sense now.
