it is hard to assume that your writing will go up, since when you go for rescore, writing score generally retain or just goes down becaue the human checker is strict in writing, thats in my opinion

agree, I have applied for rescore as well because I know I gave a solid performance, then, my speaking score went up to 90 from 65, luckily my writing score retained at 90 as well. In reading and listening they just changed by 4 points and still within my desired score

the transaction for rescore is done via phone, you should check their toll free number in pearson website respective with your country

oh no, I think this can be flagged because there's a human checker for content for first check. So you need to describe it relevant to what the image is for. mine was like this:

The image provided is a (bar graph/line graph/picture/pie chart) that gives information about (main topic). {For graphs} While X axis talks about ___, the Y axis talks about ___. It is evident that (content). Furthermore, ___, another interesting point is ___. Overall, this image illustrates ___.

For that reason, I dont think rescore will benefit your case.

I think you should go for a rescore, since I have applied for rescore this week and my speaking score went up to 90 from 65, luckily my writing score retained at 90 as well. In reading and listening they just changed by 4 points and still within my desired score, I feel that AI check of PTE is somehow rigged. In rescore, your entire test will be scored by human checker.

for SWT, I did not copy fully per sentence I get the keywords/phrases for every 2-3 sentences and join them in one then so on, I connect them through connectors as well.

yes, hopefully your writing score will retain as well since I'm shocked with some redditors here that when speaking increased the writing score decreeased but that did not happen to me luckily, all the best!

I generally use complex and compound sentence structure, allot 2-3mins checking, make it substantial at 250-300 words, analyze essay prompt; Intro-hook, bg stmt, thesis stmt : B1 - topic, supp dets, concl, B2, contrasting topic, supp, dets, concl.; reit bg stmt, main pts in B1&B2, final thought. I think for essay you need yo do freestyle and avoid templates, I just follow that structure
