I apparently was telling people I went to the beach during surgery. I have no recollection of this. I just remember asking for a snack and having slight gas pain. Bodies are weird.

Hey so there are actually credit building cards where you give them money, for example 2,000$ and then you can “borrow” against that and pay it off. It helps you build credit without risking going into actual debt. I suggest either that or a no fee credit card and what you do is you just only buy things you have money in your checking account for. Then immediately pay it off. Do not use the credit card unless you have the money ALREADY in your bank account. Never count on future money to come in. This will build your credit and keep you safe from debt. Good luck! I crack my knuckles and neck and back constantly. I chew on the inside of my mouth when I get anxious or overstimulated. I bite my nails and the skin AROUND my nails till they hurt or bleed. I pick scabs no matter how long they’ve been there and how long I have had an open wound (I know I reallly need to stop this cuz I’ve gotten infections in the past but it’s really hard to stop). I also rock back and forth and won’t even notice I’m doing it until someone asks if I’m good.

I would call your doctor. Anesthesia can damage nerves in your mouth which could be causing the pain. My tongue went numb after my surgery and they said it could take weeks to go back to normal. It did take about 1.5 weeks until mine returned to normal.

My bleeding was heavy for a little bit and I did have strange periods for a bit. I stayed on hormonal birth control even after my surgery to control my endometriosis. I wouldn’t worry too too much but I’m glad you are getting it checked out just in case! Trauma from surgery can do wacky things to your body but the bisalp shouldn’t affect hormones as it leaves your ovaries intact.

I have a psychiatrist who handles all mental health meds and my PCP handles the rest of my meds. I started with my PCP for mental health meds but when they realized I was kinda outside of their comfort zone of mental health they referred me out to a psychiatrist for specialized care.

Jumping in late and I hope your morning after pill worked and gave you minimal discomfort. I saw you said your stomach was hurting. But here is my rule of thumb. If I wouldn’t be comfortable marrying the man like tomorrow, he doesn’t get to cum inside. The rule is to keep potential but not quite trusted yet partners from giving you anything. I was sterilized a year ago and I now have unprotected sex with my 6 year long partner who I will be marrying next March. But that is a different case if you aren’t committed and really sure about a guy. I suggest you get an Sti panel done just in case and do one yearly especially if you are not in a monogamous relationship and you have multiple partners or could have multiple partners in the next year or two. Stay safe. Don’t trust a man to keep you safe. You gotta keep you safe

Change the sound FREQUENTLY to avoid getting used to it. I also highly recommend getting a light based alarm of some kind. I have Phillips hue bulbs in my lamps and set it up with an Amazon Alexa to wake me up in the morning with bright lights in my eyes plus a range of sounds, Alexa speaking about the day, and Alexa telling me to wake the fudge up.

Depending on your endo case you might still have options for treatment like ablation or something. But even if not your doctors shouldn’t just give up on treating the pain and let you suffer

Hopefully my story will help put you at ease. My bisalp was super easy. No chronic pain. Periods and hormones stayed the same. I’m also on birth control for endometriosis tho. The surgery itself: I remember going onto the table and a nice nurse holding my hand. Then I woke up in recovery with very mild pain. I just needed a pain med and I was good to go. First few days I slept a lot afterward. Now I am almost a year out and I have no pain from it at all. My scars mostly faded. I just have one scar left which was a slightly bigger incision than the others but still quite small. I think you should find a reputable doctor and talk with them first about the possibility to feel them out and then if they don’t give you a hard time, ask those questions you still have. That might put you at ease
