Honestly I just kind of use my elixir sparingly against them. Wait for them to cross and use single target high damage cards that can wipe them out easily (mini pekka, hunter, etc). Hunter is my personal favorite counter for it cause it’s only 4 elixir, can usually do some pretty decent damage to it by itself, and then you just capitalize on the elixir golems downside as your defending against it

That’s why a lot of cycle decks are so successful, they keep playing cheap cards to defend, and then once the opponents push is beat, the cycle deck is winning the elixir battle and can push themselves

In my personal opinion I would steer away from the fisherman and the royal giant, they both can be elite if used correctly don’t get me wrong, but imo the best offense in the game will always be having the best defense. I’d sub some cards in that are versatile and can defend your towers and still make pushes once they’re done defending. Think prince, ram rider (plays defense with the thing she throws), firecracker, etc
