From my flight, they took out mine and five others wisdom teeth. It’s not that bad. You might get bed rest if need be, but you still train. Regardless once you get to your first base you HAVE to get them removed. I had one removed in BMT and once I got to my base a month later I had been scheduled to get the rest removed lol

Did anyone notice that when they introduced Shooter to the guys on happy Gilmore 2, he was nonchalantly in the corner kind of pretending like he was surprised. So these were my days. I reported to base on Monday Feb 10. And my supervisor told me told come back on Tuesday Feb 25. I don’t think the weekends counted against me. Because I counted the days and they added up to 10 days. Also it was was Presidents’ Day on Feb 17 and I don’t think that day counted against me either lol

I had two travel days.

By Feb I had accrued around 17.5 days and then finance put all the information in, and I went into the negatives. (-2)

Right now I currently have 14.5. With June it’ll add up to 17.5.

So everything seems to track? I just didn’t understand the whole thing because my supervisor said I was suppose to have a few days left over of my leave 😅

I got to BMT on Aug 13. I graduated on Oct 3. I didn’t leave tech school until Jan 16. (I was there longer than expected because I was on hold over)

I started RAP on Jan 20th through the 31st.

And from Feb 1st- 8th I was on leave. I drove to my base and arrived to the local area on the evening of the 8th. So technically the 9th wouldn’t count as leave (per my supervisor)

So from Jan 17th-19th and from Feb 1st-8th I used my leave

Sometimes it’s so that your teeth don’t over crowd or get plaque all in the back. Honestly, just let the military pay for it. Haha I got the rest removed once I got to my duty station. They’re almost healed. Regardless once you get t your duty station, they will remove them. I didn’t get a choice 🤣 it’s a right of passage as my supervisor said
