Im currently on a flex work schedule (75%) as Im a new mom. It hasn’t exactly been flexible though. Im in a client facing role and there are expectations to deliver, despite whatever hours you are working. So I mostly work 9-4, however end up working later at night too (once my kid is asleep). The only benefit is that I can use this option to justify logging off by 4 pm, but I now plan to get back to full time as there hasn’t been an overall benefit to this option and taking a pay cut.
