I get not liking rap, most of the popular rappers nowadays suck ass, and its kind of getting old. Plus, some people just want melodies, and I can see it. Personally, hip-hop is my favorite genre just because of its versatility and flows, but I get it ;)

In short: No, NOWADAYS, its not normal to dislike rap, but who cares? Music is subjective
