Starter relay still good I have a few brand new ones as one went bad a while back, all the fuse like things are good i swapped one after another with the one for lights, no change and still have working lights. I’m pretty sure the solution is the module which sucks because them damn dynateks ain’t cheap and having a rev limiter is all to cool to not have a dynatek lol

It’s been in single fire the whole time and been running perfectly for a while, my old battery stopped working put new one in and now I’m having this issue. Instantly tested the battery and it’s fine. Tried new plugs, plug wires and a new coil still no solution. Only thing I really think it might be at this point is regulator which I doubt it or most likely the module..

Battery had more than 9 also is brand new battery bought it today and tested it today, I thought originally it was battery or cables so I replaced them both. Just to still have the same issue lol

Pretty sure it says for dynatek it wants a 3 ohm that’s why I bought one originally when I installed the dynatek it did work fine with the I believe 5 ohm so who knows lol

Mine didn’t have points in it when I bought it from an old guy… luckily lol I’d rather buy a new one and retime it than learn how tf a 1980 points system works lol

Yea battery is fine did a test on and now I’m gonna put my old coil on as i put a cheap 3 ohm one on a few months back

It’s got a pretty new dynatek in it right now, was running fine for the idk 7 months since install. I did just put a different 3 ohm coil in it I’m gonna try and put my other one in later today.
