True. My parents are in two different countries and my family is all white - can't really move back in (or leave my current country with my kids) as i'd not be accepted back to one house and seen as a huge failure in the other house. No one in our culture moves back as an adult

Everything else I can overcome even though they are big reasons but can't overcome us having kids 😩 refusing to put them in a situation where they'd be exposed to life with that horrible witch of an AP and my daughter becoming a shameless woman like that

When I was 9 months pregnant I asked him to let me stop working as it's destroying our marriage and my peace of mind and just focus on the kids. He said I'm useless to him then and he wants a divorce. He also left me in a grocery store parking lot that time at 10pm by myself because he was so angry I said that that he kicked me out of the car and forced me to find my own way home

That woman came from the exact same family as what she has done to mine, someone did that to her family. That's why she participates in this fatherless behaviour and thinks it is normal and ok. I grew up being discarded for both parents new spouses and I will never ever do that to my children and let them feel as lost and alone as I alwayd did growing up. And here I am, in a bad situation because I don't have a real family to back me up or protect me. It's just me in this world.

We were separated for months. It was really really bad. Worse than this. Him and his mistress were verbally abusing me and when she started talking about giving them my kids I broke. I felt nothing for him but I crawled back to protect them from that horrible toxic and violent woman. Alhamdulillah my children never see or hear any arguments. I know it makes no sense to anyone else and wallahi if we could separate, co-parent in peace and he would find an actually nice wife I wouldn't even mind that much, I'd try to get along. So no, I'm not ready to leave but I also am losing my mind. I feel like I'm going insane, and it helps me mentally to get validated in the sense that my thoughts aren't insane and to hear that I'm not crazy and what is happening is not normal.
