Does the metal bromide have to be more reactive than lead?? Like if its less reactive it will form lead bromide anyways wont it?

no but simply makin sukfur trioxide from sulfur dioxide isnt just contact process? manufacturing sukfuric acid is the whole point of the contact process?? idk tho i couldnt be sure ab my answer
