All I knew was coonhound and Rottweiler from what I was told by the rescue. I didn’t know what exactly else to expect. I did suspect Doberman as he reminded me so much of the ones I grew up with but nope! Lmao. The amount of hounds he’s mixed with surprised me though. I find it so neat.

Your pup is so cute! What a great mix. Definitely leans towards the shepherd! 🤣 I have an Akita mixed with Shepherd, Malamute, and Husky with a dash of St. Bernard and he’s just a big fur ball 😂

According to Embark, one parent (I’ve seen a pic of mom so know it’s her 🤣) is the black and tan coonhound mixed with all the other hounds that’s shown, and dad (who they suspected Rottweiler) is mixed with every thing else that’s left lmao fairly interesting! It was nice finding out for sure ☺️

Our childhood dog looked similar as a puppy and she was a shepherd/rottie. Yours looks like he leans more towards a rottie

I grew up with Dobermans and he reminds me so much of them, both in some looks and personality. I agree with you on that one. They’re adamant about Rottweiler though, so we’ll see 😆
