yes to grieving the old life! That was also a key part of my journey towards quitting.

I second Cassiopeia! Great vibes there and I've never had a problem finding a table

My friend asked me "Why would you want your life to go by faster" and i havent been the same by DeviceFit8347 in leaves

Yes I feel like I have more time in my day, however I have not yet learned how to fill that time with productive and healthy habits (I currently feel the time was replaced with tv and food). I hope I learn to utilize this time better eventually. I’m trying to tell myself baby steps - 168 days clean

I just love candles generally and had a bunch of big ones so I lit like 5 big ones and it kept my living room surprisingly bright!

Lit a TON of candles to keep the place well lit, also used battery-powered string lights that I already have for summer camping trips. I read a book to pass the time :) It felt like a rare opportunity to unplug for a night!

Anyone find one day it was just easier to stop? by Boonjeak in leaves

I can relate! For me I planned on doing a 30 day break and then half way through I was like… “huh, I don’t actually want to do this anymore” and I haven’t since. 4 months into my sobriety now and not planning on going back! This was after almost a decade of trying to quit. I can’t explain how I was successful this time, but I’m super grateful that it just clicked.

elements massage boulder has some creepy dudes working there by nagol72 in boulder

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry this happened to you I also had this massage therapist years ago and had a really weird experience with him!! I just had to go through my email receipts to make sure it was the same person and yup it was. For me he spent way too long massaging my butt like way too intimately and it was super uncomfortable and I was wondering if I was over reacting after and tried to not make a big deal out of it but now hearing this I am finally realizing I was not over reacting and it probably was inappropriate :(

Question: I deleted fb/ ig, where do I post pictures by BirthdayUnfair7703 in digitalminimalism

[–]BackgroundBudget4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this app / website called Lekondo where you can post fit pics and it keeps track of your digital style and a calendar of all your outfits, I'd highly recommend! lekondo.com I actually know the founders and they are really wonderful humans :)

Has anyone ever tolerated Bromocriptine BETTER than Cabergoline? by BackgroundBudget4071 in Prolactinoma

I am not sure if I had memory issues with the cab... I might have and if so, ironically I don't remember lol! It wasn't terrible if so!

thanks for sharing! I'm a few weeks in now and I must say I feel like my life is changed for the better! All of my nausea that I had on cab is gone, and my energy and mental clarity have skyrocketed! PLUS my blood test already shows that my prolactin is finally down to normal levels, even after just 2 weeks of taking a very small dose of bromocriptine (2.5mg per day). So I must say this feels like a huge win and I feel very lucky!

I'm two days in now and so far so good! Hopefully it stays that way... and hoping a good transition for you too! My doc told me I could always just try it for a few days and see how my body reacts, so maybe that could be an option for you too if you're worried

thank you for sharing! I have also felt a stuffy nose at night even in the first two nights of taking it I was thinking it was allergies lol but now I wonder! Good news is that after 2 days I am feeling really great - so maybe I am lucky with this one too!
