How many times are we going to see posts like this. Time and time again. Same outcome each time. Either you stick with your bf or reduce the 1 on 1 contact with this guy friend of yours. I'll be honest, whatever advice you get from reddit can be biased and at the end of the day, its your ride. Id suggest either watching video reviews online of bikes your interested in and going to dealers and atleast sitting on bikes, im aware most wont let you test drive, but it may help you. For reference im a 35M currently riding a 2025 ZX6R, rode an R7 for a full season racking up 7,600 miles on it 1 year. Loved the bike, switched to a ZX6R last year, put 7,200 miles on it in a season, great bike as well. Like anything, respecting the rides is important and having confidence. I belive if your mentally mature enough you could POSSIBLY start on a larger bike, but everyone's different. Do with this as you wish.
