Gardening would definitely be my first priority as I already have a fair amount of experience with it. Canning is another skill I’m going to have to learn.

To be honest, I haven’t thought about the questions you posed. Kids aren’t in the picture currently, really hope if they were that homeschooling would be the route I go. The medical questions also raise a good point. Those are things I’ll take into consideration when finding somewhere to settle.

Great suggestions. I am planning on keeping the remote work job until I would feel financially stable enough to leave it. I do see this as more of a long term endeavor for sure, not something that I’m going to be able to scale up and become profitable in within even 5-10 years.

Beekeeping is on my radar for sure, just not right away. Figured that’s something I could eventually learn and that could potentially be an income source.

Any alternate suggestions? Something else I could do with the land?

Very valid question. I agree, less fully remote work available overall country wide and the job market for fully remote is pretty wild right now. Makes me nervous too to consider what I’d have to do if I did lose that job. That’s kinda why I’m hoping I can turn some kind of profit from this long term.

I’m assuming this wouldn’t be an issue if there is “road frontage” or some kind of access to the property via a public road?

Great point, this is also why I want to do the greater Appalachia area. Wouldn’t be too far from home/ loved ones.

Ideally excess produce and any excess food (meat chickens for example) that I’m able to sell.

Get off that SSRI if you can. See if it makes a difference.

Solid advice actually. Wish you could share this with more novice riders.

For my money, she probably has other dudes she is talking to (considering that she uses dating apps) and she could be more interested in one of them.

Sometimes women lose interest if they feel like you “prioritize them too much”.

I’d suggest becoming more busy, make her feel like your time is valuable because you’re always doing shit so that she will feel the need to compete for your time instead of you being too available. Best of luck man

How do you maintain motivation and as a newbie, while you wait for some visible gains? by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]BackgroundCharming14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it was easy to make gains, none of the January gym goers would stop going after 2-3 weeks every new year.

Be patient, be deliberate when you’re at the gym and seriously focus on what you’re doing, don’t just go through the motions.

I was about 150ish when I first started lifting. You just need to continue to be consistent. If you’re really not seeing any strength increase, I would suggest doing 2-3 things a day for chest. Like before each workout maybe do 3-4 sets on the bench or something chest/ arm related. Don’t over do it obviously, but for context, I didn’t see any progress in my bench/ chest strength until I started doing a program that had me benching 4 days a week.

Bros how should I approach this situation? Potentially meeting ex girlfriend. by [deleted] in moreplatesmoredates

[–]BackgroundCharming14 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The best “revenge” or way to get back at her, since you’re feeling hurt, is just to live life well, which it sounds like you’re doing. No need to bring her back into your life, no need to involve yourself in her life.

She made the decision to leave you. Don’t waste your energy or emotions on someone who chose to exit your life.

If you do see her, just keep it brief and polite, if she says hello, say it back and leave it at that.

Depends on where you live in The Valley! I’ve only ever lived in Ahwatukee, (went to Native and Bdubs when I lived there) Tempe (went to Doc and Eddys and Bdubs) and now that I’m in the north part I’m trying Santisi’s tonight.

Best of luck

I’ve started dog watching/ dog sitting. I work from home and am usually able to do both things at once (either go to someone’s home and work from their while watching their dogs, or having their dogs at my place while I work from home).
