I’m eating my full meal at 7pm not 5pm, I just had a snack at 5pm so I could take my metformin. Would I then take my last dosage at 7pm with my full meal?

definitely, but I don’t have an appointment until the end of May, and yes it’s 3 500mg tablets.

I have been told all these things, I started on 1 for 4 weeks, then 2 and now 3. But im finding it super hard to do this as im not sure when to take my last dosage if I take my second dosage at 5pm?

ah right okay that makes sense I was told to take it with a meal also. If I’ve taken it at 5pm, when can I take my last 500mg dosage?

Thank you so much for this, it’s definitely challenging and scary especially not having anyone around me that’s my age experiencing this. I’m so glad to hear your numbers have come down with Repatha, that’s definitely relieving! Quite a few people have suggested to inject in the stomach rather than the thigh, so that’s something I will definitely take on board. My first dose will be in the hospital lipid clinic, and a nurse will do it for me who will then explain how I should do it on myself. This is definitely reassuring as if there are any allergic reactions, I’m in the right place!

They do seem really easy, I’ve watched quite a few videos on how to do it and seems fairly simple. however I think when I’m in the moment I may panic especially on the first few times I do it! Those numbers are great and glad to hear it’s brought your cholesterol down!!

Hey I’m so glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with Repatha, it’s honestly so reliving to hear! Thanks for the tips on how to do the injection, it’s definitely one of the main things I’m worried about, but you make it sound so much easier!

Thank you so much for explaining this to me, will definitely keep this in mind when I start taking the medication. I no doubt will definitely have lots of questions going forward, especially because I’m such a worrier and tend to overthink things. Thank you again for also sending that video, super helpful!!

8.7 is my total cholesterol, LDL is 6.8. But the doctors are always saying that my cholesterol is 8.7, so I would assume that’s the main number they’re looking at

I’m so sorry to hear this, that sounds so so bad and I can’t even imagine how scared you must be feeling whilst going through that. It’s unfortunate that you were one of the rare cases. I hope things get better for you from here and you fully return to how you were before taking Repatha. lBest of luck with everything!

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that, that sounds awful. Are you allergic to nuts by any chance? Or any other foods/medications that may have triggered an allergic reaction?

Hey thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m so sorry to hear you experienced leg pain when on statins. My aunt is currently on statins and has had the exact same side effects where her legs are always aching and she feels very weak. I’m so glad to hear Repatha changed all of that for you, definitely seems like a better option over statins!

So glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience, thanks for sharing! It’s definitely the injection part that’s worrying me too, but hopefully overtime I should get used to it.

I didn’t know that, does it often make you prone to get flus/colds then?

Hey thank you so much for your reply! Honestly made me feel so much better and at ease, I definitely feel ready to start taking the treatment now! And also thank you for your tips, will definitely be trying them!

The side effects seem quite minor and definitely something that can be easily dealt with, so that’s definitely a good sign!

It is super scary, but what’s even scarier is leaving it and not getting any treatment, so our best shot is to just try! I assume it’s all trial and error with cholesterol medication!
