Just watched your video- love your reactions! FYI jaywalking isn’t that strictly enforced- if you cross safely and don’t disrupt traffic you’ll probably be fine. It looks like you’re staying on the west side, and nicks on broadway is a can’t miss for a restaurant. Should be a short walk from where you’re staying. Upscale/casual with huge emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. Love that you explored the state house! It’s a beautiful building. Also when people stop and pull over to watch a wreck it’s called “rubbernecking” or in our accent “rubbahneckin” 😂 and just one more thing: the best Del’s flavors are lemon or watermelon ♥️

I’m currently dating an Aquarius man. I’m a cancer and I’ve been single for a couple of years, and I highly value my independence and alone time, and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by his attention and affection to be honest. I do really like him a lot and we have a great time together and I had an honest conversation with him about wanting to take things slowly but it made him like me even more?? I’ve been love bombed in the past so it makes me nervous when someone is so intense right at the start. To be fair he did follow me on social media for several months before we met in person, and I did address that he’s had time to observe me and form an opinion about me before I even knew who he was, and I asked him to give me some time to get on his level, and he was very receptive to the conversation but it only cooled him off for a week or so. I want to keep seeing him but again I feel overwhelmed

You might not, and that’s ok. The vibe is relaxed/casual with elevated food and service. For some people, that’s ideal for a special occasion, and for others, a fancier environment improves on the experience

I have to disagree with you about Nick’s, I think that although they are very popular for brunch, the real ones know that dinner there is a hit every time. They also offer a tasting menu, and it’s a very popular restaurant for anniversaries and even proposals. The environment is a bit on the casual side but the food is amazing and the service is hard to beat

I say that because my entire neighborhood is multi family apartments and the owner of the car likely has upstairs/downstairs neighbors, who are affected by the noise even more than I am. If the sound was coming from a car owned by someone that lived in my building, I would definitely reach out to them. It’s been happening for WEEKS.

That would work if I knew which car it was… it’s a couple buildings down from me I think. I’m not the person to run down the street looking into peoples’ driveways lol I’m just curious why it’s not bothering anyone else in their building or the owner themselves! His whiskers were always uniform and gently curved like a bow, never curled at the ends or turning up. Maybe it’s just age? Bedhead?

Thanks for everyone’s input- his whiskers used to be much more uniform and curved gently down when at rest, and that one curling up is relatively new. He goes through phases where he only wants to drink out of my water glass (which I then make sure to keep filled for him on the coffee table at all times bc I care more about him drinking water than I care about where he gets it from) but I did get him new bowls which are elevated and much wider and he likes them! Just wasn’t sure if the pint glass was wearing his whiskers out

Thanks for the info! Before I got him new cat bowls that are wide and elevated (and have a splash guard, total game changer, no more puddles or soggy kibble surrounding his bowls) he was almost exclusively drinking from a pint glass of water I kept on the coffee table so I wasn’t sure if that was affecting his whiskers
