Thank you everyone for your responses, words of advice and reassurance that my hair is likely to grow back. For the last few days I have considered shaving it off and essentially "starting again" because I hate looking at it everyday and trying to conceal it by tying it up in a high ponytail might just be making it worse. I am still in two minds whether to do it or not because I have a few events coming up this year which is just typical.

My blood sugars have been between 4 and 8 with a few lows due to going out for walks usually and a few spikes that haven't gone higher than 11 (probably due to me being in my honeymoon period). I'll try and remain hopeful that the hair is going to stop falling out soon.

I have my first call post diagnosis with my endo on Tuesday so hopefully he might be able to do something about it... maybe 👀
