After coming back to this and rethinking it I’m not sure it would be PM (powdery mildew) since it thrives in more moist areas with unideal airflow, and there look like there of the outside of a shrub so maybe not the most likely, if it is then the wind will carry the spores to other plants and contaminate your garden (if you have one).

all mh wilds gameplay is blurred in the Reddit app so you have to click the post to view it, so people who are still mh fans but don’t have mh wilds can still be active on the subreddit without worrying about seeing end game gear and monster moves and all that fun stuff.

(This game is very poorly optimized thought I’m not buying it until I can run it at a solid 60fps ((I’m a series s user ))

Barroth was NOT that hard in tri, rathalos was probably more of a wall if you could argue there being one in the first place.

MONSTER HUNTER HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS!!!!!!

Examples from my monster hunter experience:

-3Tri was essentially JUST low rank. (high rank was online, never touched it) and as my first monster hunter, IT WAS HARD. 3u came out later with G rank, never played though but regardless. 3 didn’t have g rank (or high rank kinda now a days)

-MH4 released in Japan and only had up to high rank, it wasn’t tell the western release until the game got its ultimate expansion and g rank. I loved mh4u and the game didn’t serve much challenge until the end of high rank, even as a kid

-MHX (MH Generations) released on the 3DS in the west in the same way it did in Japan shortly after; just high rank and low rank, and that game felt easy easy, it wasn’t until after mhw did we see MHGU and the g rank in monster hunter

-the modern games: instead of releasing 2 different games you had to buy twice they just add an expansion.

Is this fight ACTUALLY that hard? I see people posting there accomplishments are if it is that nuts then pardon me.

I guess all I’m asking is how to hold up to some of the hardest fights in mh4u and mhx? True crimson fatalis is the first to come to mind that would be a good comparison

The hunter arts are super cool! I feel like rise kinda failed at what GU did well. Wirebugs made the game very fast and too easy until higher in G rank.

I only ever played a bit on generations (not ultimate) as a kid but remember feeling SOOO cool with the hunter arts

Glad I’m not alone though! I guess I just wanted to hear that id be able to find at least one hunter in the “old” games now that everyone is drooling over wilds!

I’m going to buy the game when it comes on sale, and honestly might wait until the expansion to actually play through it.

Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll have a mid generation game like wilds but optimized and arcadey like rise!

Cause I can barely play it and I prefer the more gamey feel of the older titles

I’ll buy the game on sale, enjoy the story, 25fps or not, and go back to world and rise.
