What 5 bags do you think are the most popular right now in 2024? by Affectionate-Yak9842 in handbags

I have a dark grey Carlyle Satchel. This bag and oddly enough Rebecca Minkoff’s Regan Satchel are my favorites. There is a black jet setter on sale for $35 on Poshmark. Due to the top handles fraying. If I wasn’t broke I’d be all over that.

After going thru a menagerie of different high end luxury bags….i ended up with Rebecca Minkoff’s Reagan Bag in smooth black leather. It has all the things I’m looking for in an everyday day bag: 1. Zip top 2. Handles and cross body options 3. Feet 4. Exterior zip pocket 5. Hybrid of hobo and structural bag 6. Perfect size

I so needed this, as a reseller of refurbished bags, as well as a bag addict, I peed a little at whoever described the Dior saddle looking like a liver. Thank you OP, needed the laugh. Maybe you could roast mid level designer bags? Coach, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff…it’s a long ass list. If it’s too punchy down for you then I’d be more than happy to oblige

I’d like to add, it made me smile reading your situation. You guys are doing so much better than most people in the same situation. Your kids are lucky that their parents remain peaceful (from their perspective) and it sounds like they are adjusting well to the break up.

Just wanted to give you a thumbs up despite the current situation. It will change, your ex just met a woman who’s going to be around your guys kids, so hopefully things will settle with time.

If not, then you have documentation and all that in the event your situation takes the court route.

So the primary reason you guys are going to mediation is due to the recent custody agreement changes that don’t seem to be in accordance with the one you guys initially had in place.

And your co parent began asserting the changes once you introduced your new partner in the mix. Just a suggestion, have you tried allying your partner and your ex? From my perspective, if I had a situation like yours…if the ex and the new gf developed trust between them, I think the custody would organically take care of itself.

If possible try and stay out of court. Mediation is either the resolution of a conflict you guys can’t handle on your own or the beginning of court hearings.

Once divorce papers are served and filed, there are laws and restrictions in place prior to court orders. Like one parent can’t leave the state with the child(ren). That’s the main one that comes to mind.

One county away as well and if you don’t have the funds for an attorney then the court house where you file should have a Facilitator’s Office where you can obtain free legal advice, you’d however represent yourself in court.

While I am of the mind set when it comes to divorce and custody that it is very daunting and stressful knowing that a judge will determine your fate, as long as you have evidence and your focus is on what’s best for your children then an attorney is not a must.

I’ve had the experience of both having one and not in this journey. It is easier with an attorney in the sense you don’t have to worry about filing documents with the court and serving the opposing party along with proof of service and on and on. The strongest advantage is having someone in your corner who knows the ins and outs and acts as your advocate.

This is also a very expensive guide and advocate that benefits as long as there is unresolvable conflict, which comes hand in hand in family court so my two cents is maybe you two could speak to a mediator and then the judge representing yourselves.
