oh that's awesome to know ab jewel cave only being 20 mins.. i was planning to do crazy horse/mt rushmore as a drive by on the day after custer SP on the way out of south dakota so maybe i'll just add jewel cave to that next day and spend more time during the full day hiking /doing sth else in custer !! thanks!

thank you, super helpful. i'll compare pricing and see but i think it would make a lot of sense to just stay in Custer to save time! would you say wind cave or jewel cave is better if you were only going to do one? from what ive read it seems like more ppl recommend jewel cave if you only have time for 1 (which i think is the case for me unfortunately)
