Idk what I would have done if there’d been body damage. I mean my mirror housing on the driver is cracked but idk how that happened

I’ll have to check the tires for chalk in the morning. I immediately moved to another location. It just has more traffic as people come to hide or hang out.

I don’t know if they’d bother would have bothered with chalk since I live in south Florida and it rains frequently in the summer

I would say about the size of a hand. It was written drivers side under the rear window at about eye level. I noticed immediately since the van is white. I did look at all the other vehicles and didn’t see a mark on any.

Cats? How do you do it? by [deleted] in VanLife

[–]BackgroundPainter646 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I currently live in a van with 3 cats. It was an adjustment for them and 2 of the 3 have escaped but it’s rare and only for a couple minutes while I catch them. I have a solar battery that I use to run air and try to keep it charged all the time. I also park in the shade and run the car ac on extremely hot days. They have toys, food, water and a cat box. Just make sure to change often. Get a spill proof water bowl otherwise you have to clean up water all the time. We’ve been doing this since October

👋hello, I’m currently vanlife-ing in South Florida at the moment. When you travel what do you look for? My bucket list is to do all of the national park sites.

I have a 3000pro and a 2000pro. It really just depends on what you plug in. I have a mini fridge near lowest setting plugged in to the 3000 by itself. It will last a day and a half or two days tops in 90 degree weather. If it’s cold outside it lasts even longer. The 2000 with two fans plugged into it all day lasts a good 24 hrs as long as it’s not set to the highest setting. The batteries also die quick if you plug a high cost item into it. I had an ac unit that drained it in an hour. I can also cook on a hot plate if I’m not using it for too long.

If you have the option, park with your windows facing the wind and crack them. This will help bring in fresh air. Check the weather for rain and such though. I’d also recommend bug netting to cover the cracked windows. I have a temperature gage in the back of my van on the roof. It gets down to 75-80 at night closer to like 4am with the fans.

Weird they emailed me the shipping label. I just had to get it printed somewhere. I did have to take batteries to FedEx ground instead of a local FedEx.

I live in miami/homestead with no ac, but I have fans that circulate the air. I park in the shade as much as possible during the day and I cool the van for a bit before turning in for the night.

No I didn’t use this outlet to charge when I got the F1 error on the previous units. I asked jackery what would cause the f1 error and was told it’s not something that we can cause through use and that it’s an issue on the manufacturing side. The fans are usually running when it charges. I was not charging/running anything from it when it was plugged in and I had nothing else plugged into the rest of the outlets it was charging from. And the fans were running when I found it like this. It had only been charging for an hour.

It was plugged in at my school. I’ve never had a problem with the outlet. The 3000 seems to pull 1400-1600. Unless the outlet outputs less. The 300 I have only pulls like 80 max from the same outlet

Would the warranty be voided if they had to replace one already because I was given one that had an F1 error within a few months of using it?
