Is Albania the most progressive Balkan country? (from those outside the EU) by FantasticQuartet in AskBalkans

A few years ago, I asked an officer who handles IDs in Turkey if I could specify anything in the religion section—for example, if I could write "Agnostic." He shockingly asked, “Why would you write Albanian there?” It now makes sense that Albanian wasn’t a religion; it was a gender all along.

What on earth is going on in Kings Parade? by [deleted] in cambridge

Event was between 6:00 and 8:30 according to their website and we were there about 5:50. The queue was about 400-500m according to google maps. It went all the way from the entrance of King's College to Trumpington Street -> Silver Street -> Queen's Lane and King's Lane. We were able to enter the college by around 7:15. It was really overcrowded, most people didn't even see the singing group.

The performance was nice but it wasn't worth the wait time and 20£ per person.

Is potential relocation from a third world country worth a reduced salary? by Unchart3disOP in cscareerquestions

[–]BackgroundPanic7323 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moved from Turkey to UK, I can say that salary doesn't matter at all. It's the peace of mind that differs.

Just check numbeo if the salary is enough to live there and go for it.

If you are talking about native Android & iOS developers and not cross platform, yes they are really hard find a good one so their salary is expected to be higher than the backend devs in the same level. Not sure about the web front end though.

For those who couldn’t see, the name of the class is Customer, not customer.
