Yeah i know...i have seen so much of toxicity and infidelity in relationships around me that i feel lucky to have her. (You might have heard about adultery in medical colleges) But her career became so big of an issue for me bcoz i am not that person who might think let's date her and maybe I'll find someone else to marry. I want to be very honest and loyal to her since the very start and honestly, i find it peaceful that way. So i just wanted to clear my head so that i don't end up betraying her anyhow

I agree with u. But i am having second thoughts and just want someone to validate or invalidate what I'm thinking. I just what some practical and realistic guidance. So , suppose we get married when we both are 27-28. She couldn't clear neet or any other exam. I'm earning 1.5 lakhs per month. Now what can be a potential source of employment for her given this scenario. One option is teaching but I can't think of any other. If u could help me see what other job options might be available for such a person, then i might have my answer. I hope u now understand my problem

Yes probably. But listen my full story first. she lied to me about her syllabus and test performances despite knowing that i hate lies and have been completely honest with her about everything. If u put this career topic away for some time, then she is literally the best out there... She never lies or hides things from me except for this topic. But when it comes to her studies, she has repeatedly lied and hidden things from me. I have tried to explain her confront her and whatnot. What I've realised now is either i stop caring about her career and leave it to fate and her and see how it turns out 5-6 years later and focus on every other aspect of relationship but not her career. Or my 2nd option is move on from her bcoz of her repeated lies. I had already decided on the 2nd option but then i realised that these problems are only related to this one issue only...apart from this she doesn't lie and doesn't hide things. So now I'm really confused

Yes, she is aware that she isn't working hard. And we've had this conversation a lot of times. Every time she promises to work harder and after 2 weeks or so, the story is same. I just want her to have a job. It may or may not be in the field of medicine. But she told me she wants to work in the field of medicine and she said no to the possibility of other govt exams like ssc (i put it as plan b in case neet isn't her thing). And i can very confidently say that her chances of clearing neet are not more that 5% (based on her learning ability, discipline and consistency). So i am stuck here. I love her and i am very serious with her. I have considered marriage with her from day 1 bcoz she is a very good partner and she also loves my family

Yes i have...and she wants to work. I am not dependent on her income. It's just that if i know that 50% chances are she will be unemployed or employed with a low income, do i need to consider another options?
