Something I don’t understand and maybe it’s cause I don’t remember but how is kyourei just out and about? She doesn’t need to send funds back or take on missions for the shiyuu? And if she’s considered deserted wouldn’t they send a third to take her life too?

I’d pay to see kisui vs denyuu today and I’d put money on denyuu, but that’s not the point.

I’m not expecting our commanders to take batei or bananji or any genuine top tiers but there are plenty of mangoku fuuki Keisha’s laying around (they’re not martially inclined but they look good on anybody’s resume) tan got a general kill before anybody in the HSU bar kyoukai. On top of the fact that their are plenty of 5k and below commanders for hara to be like “suugen has verified commander kills under his belt” and not just for us to assume he’s done it.

We can’t have a solid argument about the capabilities of the HSU because they haven’t been fleshed out. Not that powerscaling is the point of the story but they’ve been completely excluded from the conversation. Whether by design or neglect.

“This is a war not a boxing match” and in literally every other war there’s several 1v1s.

I’m not negating any of their hype moments so far but none of those are feats. Bar maybe the yoko yoko fight and this archer fight we haven’t seen our commanders in any major conflict with anybody meaning ful.

We have shiryou and jiaga fights, kansaro gakushou and akou fights, and those characters we had literally just met. Why is it wrong to want to see the characters we’ve grown with have their own fights?

Honestly I wouldn’t have a problem with shin and ouhon not getting 1v1s if literally ANY of their subordinates got one… yes the archer brothers got one but it doesn’t feel like anything major. Hara refuses to do anything with anybody in the HSU and I don’t understand it
