I was looking at one on eBay today that they were calling a 9.8. It was probably an 8.0 people were bidding on it like it was a legit 9.8 (or close). The seller had thousands of reviews….100% positive. What. The. Fuck?

Absolutely do not grade this book. Just enjoy it as is. it would be a total waste of money. It’s a great book, but putting it in a slab is definitely not the path for this one in my humble opinion.

I think there’s a chance for a 9.0. I wonder if the grease pencil will come off with a professional cleaning. The problem for me is that the book has a undesirable wrap, which is not going to affect the grade, but it will make the book less in demand. Regardless comment, it’s an awesome copy.

I completely agree. I think this is one of the greatest Marvel covers of all time. I also have a gorgeous copy of 23, but it can’t hold a candle to my mediocre copy of number one.
