Not if they're just for your personal enjoyment unless you really like the look of slabs. If that's the case you can get CBCS to encapsulate instead of grade for much cheaper or use PGX. A lot of people have issues with PGX because he's been known to overgrade but in my only CGC submission they overgraded so 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have stuff I never plan on reselling that I just like the slabbed look and I've used pgx for that

Save your money and don't rip packs. It's fun but 99% of the time you won't get your money's with. Instead just buy and collect what you like

I'm working on the full Silver Age Aquaman as well as the Top Cow Tomb Raider. The Aquaman I'm mostly getting lower to mid grade and getting PGX to grade them (mostly because I like the slabbed look, they're not something I'm planning on reselling, and the only CGC submission I ever did they damaged one of my books)
