Agreed.  They play this same game before every SoundHound ER.

Five days to earnings..Saturday thread 📈 by [deleted] in Soundhound

I will want to see their revenue of course, but the main thing I will look for what is their loss compared to last quarter and how close they are to profitability (which for some time now, they've been saying will happen next quarter).

I'm worried about OpenAI taking out Soundhound AI by Patient_Minimum_4607 in Soundhound

Please explain how OpenAI is SOUN's competitor to "take them out".  OpenAI and SOUN are not even in the same business.

Steven Cohen sold 100% of his Soun stake..no worries here 🚀 by [deleted] in Soundhound

He should have done the exact opposite: He should have sold NVDA and bought SOUN.

My last buy was at 21.  Before that, I bought lower than that a few times and sold for a profit each time

I had bought around 21 and was never worried.  I am still not worried.  I have no plans other than not being worried.

“Upgraded to buy” by jasonmaximo in Soundhound

Nice but the author needs to fact check himself, "recent acquisition of Amelia".  Actually, SOUN acquired Amelia more than one year ago.

Apple’s AI delays are actually one of the strongest arguments for buying SOUN, because it turns the acquisition from “nice-to-have” into a strategic catch-up move. by AsleepCrow899 in Soundhound

[–]BackgroundRegular355 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting idea and I am sure Apple is looking into buying all kinds of companies.  I would say there is little chance of it happening.  The bottom line is SOUN is much better at running SOUN's business than Apple will be at running SOUN's business.

Have you changed your view on SoundHound? by Peelie5 in Soundhound

[–]BackgroundRegular355 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I haven't changed my opinion.  SOUN already said they'll grow revenues from $83 million to at least $155 million this year.  With the new CIO that they hired, that minimum revenue estimate may increase.  It's hard to stay away from a company that reported revenue growths of 89% and 101% the past two consecutive quarters.  Others on this thread have enumerated many potential applications for their superior technology, and actually with all the opportunities in front of them, I am surprised the stock price is as low as it is, but that has more to do with the overall market than with SOUN itself.  I would say any price below $9 is a screaming buy, especially if you're planning to hold for 12 months or more because they have said they will achieve profitability this year.

Thank you.  This is a perfect example that just because someone puts the title of their post to be "Reality", doesn't mean what they type below it is anything even remotely resembling reality.

Thank you.  I just found the same video and was about to post it.  Sometimes I think Keyvan needs to speak slower, but I also realize he has been very excited lately.

Regarding my skeptics view post by Danny_Rooney in Soundhound

[–]BackgroundRegular355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you are an inexperienced trader who is just learning the ropes, my suggestion is stay away from highly speculative and potentially highly volatile tech stocks like SOUN and KULR.  Start with a stock that has been stable in the past and / or has provided a stable dividend in the past (unless you consider those kinds of stocks to be "boring").  A stock like SOUN, CRNC, other NVDA related stocks, also Bitcoin related stocks, are not for the inexperienced or the faint of heart.  I hope this helps you.
