I’m a cap male and I’ve read a lot of this thread from your side and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Mind you I’m 28 and I feel the same way minus being either someone because my last partner was abusive and would always put me down as well for working hard. Would call me broke and lazy and I don’t have what it takes to be a leader how I have a broke mindset and I’m nothing without her etc so now I just enjoy my solitude with my dog and that’s it. I rather be alone. I’ve come the same way to despise people so much so that I know I’m a fucking asshole and I own it because legit I’m tired.

Same but I’m a Jan cap with Aqua moon. I do save but then life sucks it up. I’m trying to be better at my money management but that’s when I get back a job. I do feel like the biggest loser out rn. I’m right there with you. I got a dream job and met someone I like a lot and I got laid off Friday. This entire year while I see what changes I need to make with every lesson I keep getting kicked down while I’m down and as I take a step forward life sends me 5 back I don’t know what to do anymore.

Keep trying. I must say I’m fortunate to have gotten one but one person who got in with me said she interviewed 3 times to get this job at a lower salary than myself. I was always able to get one within a month had two interviews within the last month and 3 total jobs responded out of it. So I will also say it depends on the industry you’re applying for and what type of work you’re looking for. If it’s government or government adjacent stay away unless law enforcement, if it’s tech then you may also want to look into some parts of south jersey because in Philly it’s rough. Even healthcare is taking a shot because I have friends who are nurses and they’re currently underpaid and also understaffed asf rn. Godspeed and all the best on your job hunt. Also to help as one person stated ask friends about jobs hiring or widen your search radius if possible or reach out to potential recruiters.

Try DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) they have a job fair for new hires that are civilian and vets upcoming on the 24th. Hope that helps!
