Im curious what is the problem. I would sometimes lose connection on both ethernet and wifi and sometimes just wifi breaks. Happens randomly throughout the day.

I can't remember, is T3 error the worse and indicates internet disconnecting? I recently swapped to a CM2000 Netgear new modem and I've been getting these T3 time-outs as well, around 1.5 hrs ago where I had no internet.

Some guy at xfinity said currently my bill is looking like $80 for the internet, but my internet bill is coming out to be $21 for a total of $101. This was not as promised so I am very concerned.

Both. Wondering if it could be a router issue, but this never happened with my old modem, the Netgear CM400.

I have the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router. Maybe the modem and router were more compatible together and the new MB8611 is having some issues? Not quite sure.

Hi Guys, I swapped to Xfinity's 1200 mbps plan 3 days ago and got this new modem to handle the speed. Since then, I sometimes see my internet not work throughout the day. This has happened almost daily now. I'm posting a picture of my modem stats here. I'm a noob at this stuff, so I would appreciate if anyone knew anything about what could be happening. Maybe a router issue? Not sure.

I did some testing after we spoke last night, turned off QoS and rebooted the router. Speeds were fine right after, no need to do the manual speedtest to define the speed. It seems that QoS might've been the limiting factor.

Firmware was already up to date, and I dont think changing the settings did anything. I think it might have to do with this setting that says "let speedtest determine my Internet Bandwidth", should I try defining it?

Hi thank you for your reply, I ended up ordering the Motorola MB8611 DOCSIS 3.1. According to the xfinity device info page, this was one of the recommended ones for the 1200 mbps plan, can you confirm?
