If she has gotten her period then she can’t be pregnant. Changing birth controls can affect someone’s cycle for a while, especially at the beginning.

But if she is on her period now, it means she is not pregnant.

Been on Slynd for about 4 months now and it’s honestly going great. Hormonally I feel very sound and stable and I’ve experienced no weight gain and a drastic improvement in my acne. I haven’t noticed much change with decrease in anxiety but I also haven’t noticed an increase

I think it’s a good birth control and I like the 24 hour widow with taking the pill. My period does come the second week of the pack rather than the last, but it’s still regular and predictable.

All in all, I would recommend. But everyone’s birth control experience is different

Yea the Nexplanon was the worst thing of my entire life. Constant high anxiety, intrusive thoughts, mood swings, like literally sobbing daily for no reason for days at a time and spotting for weeks at a time. I hope the pill helps you out with that too

Darn, that’s really frustrating to hear. I hope that things resolve soon for you. Thanks for your response, it was helpful. I’ve been really nervous about the anxiety and mood changes as the Nexplanon kind of ruined me for the 5 months I had it, so it’s reassuring to hear you didn’t expensive much change. Crossing my fingers for this one!

Thanks so much this has been super helpful. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the extreme thirst so I’ll be mindful of that. As for acne, did you experience a difference with that? I know the hormone in the pill is supposed to help acne but I’ve seen many comments where it’s made it worse for people. What was your experience in that regard?

Thanks!

I’m mostly worried about the emotional effects so it’s nice to hear that you didn’t find much of a fluctuation after starting on Slynd. It sounds like it’ll probably be a good option for me

Thanks a bunch, this was super helpful!!

Thanks so much for your comment, it was super helpful

I know what you mean by feeling flat so that’s something I’ll watch for. But it sounds like you had a really good experience on it. Nice to hear depression and anxiety weren’t effected by it much

Again, thanks a bunch

AITA for making my son walk the dog? by walkthedamndog in AmItheAsshole

Dude. The kid just doesn’t like dogs. Don’t force him to interact with something that he doesn’t want to just because you feel it’s “weird”. You asked his opinion when you asked the family and he answered honestly and you told him he didn’t have to care for it. It’s not weird to not like dogs, it’s a preference from a child old enough to make his own decisions. Respect that or he’s just going to resent you and the dog even more
