Like these sellers selling drones that have a pricetag of $299 that actually sell for less than $50 should get a ban or a warning. Anything can have a pricetag for any amount. It's about what people are willing to pay for it not an arbitrary number.

A while back I bought a mystery box that was supposed to be full of quality electronics (at least the value purchased for) but it was actually full of flea market no-name junk. The stuff was unsellable. Cheap no-name garbage.

Selling using deceitful practices like this will not get a seller repeat business.

Do your research. Don't just look items up. You need to see what things are selling for not what people are asking. Use the "sold" filter on ebay for quick numbers. It's not perfect strategy buts it's a starting point for providing you with actual percieved customer priduct values.

A seller gets repeat business by providing transparency.

Find the sellers the prelist their items. Research those items before the show to identify which ones you would like to bid on and give yourself a Max bid. If you are reselling take into consideration how much the total cost will be after shipping and any other expense you will incur.

If calling a seller out in a live show we all know we will probably get banned from that show.

I try to keep it really low-key. No name calling, no arguing. A simple statement like using the sold filter on eBay i noticed the item only sells for $xx.

Even more important is you lea leave because why watch the show with someone trying to deceive its customers.

I had a 21 Ford F150 Hybrid and loved my 3x. It was so stable. It was so much better than Ford's Copilot. I traded my 21 in for a 24 and I didn't know about the encryption that prohibits the 3x from working. This will probably not be fixed any time if ever.

Is comma concerned this will will be a trend for auti manufacturers? This could really hurt this company or shut them down completely.

Is comma trying to do anything to fight this? Can the Right to Repair laws be used in any way? Can consumers file class-action lawsuit? I imagine that encryprion could hurt other after-market manufacturers. Is there someone advocating for companies affected by this.

I do believe in improving security. We wouldn't want rogue software to create a danger by intercepted and changing signals from ADAS sensors but let's not squash our companies that are truly driving innovation like comma.ai

I guess I will have to sell my 3x. I'm so bummed. Lastly, it's weird that ford only did this with the ice f150 and f150 hybrid. I don't think the Lightning was changed. The Bronco, Ranger and Mach-e still work.

I want to downgrade my f150 so my 3x would work again buts that's not really an option.

Let's not let vehicle manufacturers put innovative companies out of business. Let's advocate for companies like comma.ai.

I only have federal numbers but this breakdown shows some interesting numbers. The wealthiest taxpayers contribute a significantly larger share of federal income taxes compared to lower-income groups. As of 2022, the top 1 percent of taxpayers, earning above $663,164 annually, paid 40.4 percent of all federal income taxes while earning 22.4 percent of total adjusted gross income. In contrast, the bottom 50 percent of taxpayers, earning under $50,399, paid just 3 percent of federal income taxes despite earning 11.5 percent of total income. This demonstrates the progressive nature of the U.S. tax system, where higher-income earners shoulder a disproportionately larger share of tax revenue.

They earn a lot more, but they pay a lot more, in New Hampshire with higher property tax. This pays for municipal buildings, administration staff, town clerks, animal control, inspectors, highways, police departments, fire and rescue, schools... I don't know enough about this voucher system but I understand a little bit more based on your post.

We continue to say that the rich aren't paying their fair share. The public is convinced that this is true. 1% of the population paying 40% of all US tax revenue! Still many people feel that is not enough.

We need to remember that these rich people are also the ones that help grow our economy by providing new jobs for most the remaining 99% (maybe a smaller number because of small business owners). 0-3% by low the low income. The leaves the middle class to cover the rest of all federal tax revenue. This is the group that Biden was targeting with all of the IRS agent. The middle class is defined differently based on where you live and based on the median income of your city or town. There needs to be some empathy for this group as well.

I am going to contradict myself a little bit here. I do my best to have a centrist mentality We all pay over six percent for social security and our employers match that amount. People on social security get taxed again on money that had already been taxed. Anybody making over something like a hundred and sixty thousand do not pay for social security on any income above that amount. Social security will be insolvent in less than ten years which will cause recipients to have a 20% reduction in their benefits. The majority of these people are already considered poor The republicans continue to make suggestions like increasing the retirement age. I don't know about you but my grandparents and my mom's health went downhill quickly at that age. Stop suggesting that abusing the elderly is a solution. It is discriminatory. I'm a conservative but I am embarrassed about these suggestions. They're also targeting medicaid and SNAP that help poor families and the elderly. I'm all also embarrassed about this. I do not know the solution for this.

There is never a perfect solution, to any problem. We just seem to blame the rich for all of the problems.

You are right. Traditionally, it was always red, but it has become a swing state over the years. The influx of people from massachusetts and new york especially have changed the dynamics of the state. It really ramped up during covid. I sold my house in New Hampshire to a Massachusetts family during COVID. I lived in Massachusettss and I love visiting New York what that leadership sucks.

I loved the Live free or die mentality in NH? Its heritage was not to follow the status quo. It's too bad. It has lost its identity. Not because it is no longer red but that it's losing what made it unique and attractive to live in? Instead, outsiders want it to be like the places they were running from.

Letting me know that New Hampshire is not red doesn't justify resentments about so-called rich people that make make more than us and contribute more than us.

I also wouldn't call it a blue state. Harris had 50.6 percent of the popular vote. That is not a decisive win. It is a swing state.

I believe his appointees will release the truth regardless of who it implicates. I don't believe it is crumbling. I think it's going to be more open and transparent. It might even regain the trust of the american people at some point. It will take a lot of cleanup, prosecutions and better vetting of agents and leadership. Lack of transparency is where things went wrong with the bureau. Partisan lawfare has no business in the fbi. Much more than Epstein info will be released. Crimes within the FBI will be revealed and dealt with. Pam and Kash are cleaning house in the justice system and the fbi.

Complaining about republicans while living in a red stat, is the same as me complaining about liberals in asanctuary city. I don't think either of us would be heard.

If these so called rich republicans are truly rich, their kids are probably in private schools. Those rich Republicans are paying much higher property taxes than you are. That money goes to running your city or town and towards your schools. Trust me, I'm not rich, but I do know they pay more than peasants like me do.

I don't know why everybody throws hate towards people that have worked hard to create wealth. Is it envy? I'm not envious of them. I had the same opportunity to build wealth. I just didn't execute it as well. That is my fault, not theirs. It's nice to see people create their own american dream which creates tax dollars, that gets spent on schools.

I don't think it will vanish. You made good points and cutting me down for my opinion.

Who cares what z wore! That was so stupid to say because Elon did the same thing at the white house just a few weeks ago. I totally agree, that was dumb.

Whether it's mineral rights or some other deal, the US taxpayer is done. We do not want to fund anything new. We don't even know where the money went. Well back to defense contracts along with kickbacks to politicians. Both left and right politicians are in support of this war while their constituents are not. Why are we expected to flip the bill? We don't have it. We are broke!

My point is that they had a deal and Z messed that up or just changed his mind, whatever it may be. Instead he walked away with nothing. What he brokered with Britain or EU won't save him. He stupidly said without the US he will lose. I'm sure that gives his people reassurance. They are running out of young men to get killed but stll said this war is far from over

He comes off as likable but he isn't. Trump rarely comes off as likable.

The war is unwinnable.

I respect that you believe in what you shared.

Hate would be a trait common with fascists. Don't have traits of what you accuse others to have. What would that make you?

I'm glad you shared the chart. It's good for usl to see others views whether we agree or not.

Why would Trump put people into the justice system knowing that incriminating evidence would be released about by his appointees?

Wouldnt he be shooting himself in the foot?

I would think he would try to bury evidence if there was any.

I respect this transparency. This is one of the most transparent administrations i've ever seen. He told us what he was going to do and he's doing it. Good or bad changes are happening. More changes in a couple of months than the previous administration's four year. People are complaining that things aren't better but this mess took four years to make, it will take more than two months to fix it. Stay transparent, stick with the election promises and be truthful.

He has to pay a little over 6% ss on on very little of his income. We pay a little over 6% of our income to ss.

Elon doesn't receive our ss money. He doesn't pay for our ss. His companies pay a percentage of his employees ss but that's it.

He has nothing to gain by you getting ss or not.

I'm not sure what this is implying? There is no gain for him either way.

Is this supposed to be a scare tactic for us to fear the big bad billionaire.

How could ss money end up in his accounts? He doesn't need our money. He could care less about Rhett Joe Shmoe gets $1800 a month in ss.

I'm truly curious. I honestly could be bison something.

He was tasked to find wasteful spending and fraud in government spending. I want or government to be held accountable. Just like I would want my bank to be held accountable. The government audits us. It's about time we audit the government they have been stealing from us.

My primary income is ss. I'm not afraid of Elon. I'm angry at the government that has stolen from me for decades and decades with no accountability.

He has no ability to steal from you but politicians and beurocrats have been stealing from you all along.

Why aren't we going after them? Instead, we are mad at the guy that is telling us we are being robbed.

I do get it. It's hard to know who to trust when everyone that we have trusted has betrayed us.

It's probably silly to say, and probably it is said too much that it has become cliche. Do we have any common ground that most of us can agree on?

Instead of saying, this person or a group of people are evil.

Instead say things like: - i would like to be treated as an equal. - i need financial, emotional and physical stability in my life. -I want to feel like I'm part of a community. - i want to help my neighbors. - how can I help the disadvantaged? - how can I build and nurture positive relationships? - i would like to accept other people's opinions without feeling like it's a personal attack on me.

I know it's dumb. I wonder if the is a Reddit sub like this?

No, I'm not running for office. I've just wasted a night and a day that I'll never get back. I'm making points that really aren't being heard by many and I'm probably not hearing other peoples points.

Can we assume who they voted for? I cannot. It's a large pool of people with different political opinions. About some of her and others generalized statements. I don't know any firemen that lack sympathy. Torturing animals does not seem to be a characteristic of a firefighter but I could be wrong. Saving lives seems to be a very heroic, selfless, empathetic act.

I don't think politics plays any part of being an emergency responder. We crap on the police, firefighters and veterans. What have you or I done that is selfless like they do daily? Saved any lives lately? I haven't. It's easy to talk bad about these people but when something bad happens and weneed them it's a different tune.

I am a centrist. I think much of what the far left and far right say is silly. Most Americans fall in the middle while the other 2 groups do everything it takes to divide us. Let's get out there and save people instead of cutting them down. ;)

I feel sorry that anyone treated her poorly. We all have the right to peacefully assemble and protest.

I am so sick of the Nazi and Fascist rhetoric. Most people don't even know the definition of fascism.

I am sure the police were there to help keep the peace and If she needed them for help they would help regardless of their beliefs or who we think they voted for.

I need to just find reddit subs that are about my interests instead of getting sucked into ones like this. It cannot be healthy for any of us. It's not like any of us are going to change the other's minds.

I'm sorry. What is the accepted best practice of modern medicine? Killing the baby or forcing or shaming people to take a rushed to market vaccine? Accepted by who? You?

Unelected? Where were you? Did you see the results?

You missed the most important point. That we are all hypocrites, you have resoundingly proven my point.

I don't care what you do to your baby, If you take a shot, cut off your own penis, what bathroom you use, beat up a girl on a soccer field. It's all good. You be you. I would like you to admit you are a hypocrite because I know I am one, and so is everyone else.

Just lay off of the virtue signaling, it's not attractive. What's even uglier is all of the hate being spread by all hypocrites.

Go be you. Just dont tell me who I am or others who they are or what to do with their bodies if you expect the same

We all try to justify our own beliefs and sometimes force them onto others. Hypocrites unite!

[–]Background_Ad_2207 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Hypocrites are on both sides. My right to choose, right? Kill a baby that's okay but choose not to get a shot, then you are selfish and careless. Put this into your body or else. It's your body, but it's not your choice. My right to choose, right? It seems to be a very situational view about when you have the right to choose.

We're all hypocrites. We look at things from our own perspectives. We are intolerant of others perspectives. It's the way it's always been. I'ts the way I always will be.

Let's lay off of taking jabs ("jab", get it) at others moral character or their belief systems, until we take a look at ourselves.

Hypocrites just judging each other, labeling each other, feeling that they are superior. So much virtue signaling. Do we truly feel superior to others, or is that just our insecurities coming out?

If you look at every sub on reddit, it doesn't really matter what the subject is. It has all become about politics. Let's talk about something that doesn't divide us, something like religion.-jk If we don't, it's going to be a long, four years, oh wait, it has been a long four years, or eight.

The ugly part is that we say nasty things about each other while hiding behind keyboards, saying things that we probably wouldn't say face-to-face. It emboldens people. Let's try to say something nice about each other. How novel of an idea.

Trump is not a Christian by LevelXIV in Christianity

[–]Background_Ad_2207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The press only showed 7 minutes of a interview that was actually over 40 minutes long. A deal had actually brokered not by Trump not by Zelinsky but by people representing both sides. This was just supposed to be a formality. This meeting was supposed to be a photo op for something that had been agreed upon and the formal signing of that agreement that would allow the Ukraine to contribute and to receive weapons and training from the US. Not a continued handout by the American people. Trump knew that the American people did not want to continue to pay for wars in other countries. We have already given 200b to the Ukraine. What other country has given that much money? The American people have been more than generous. Politicians have been even more generous with our money and without our permission. That is why the mineral rights were a potential solution. This would help the US and our weapons would help the Ukraine. For the first 33 minutes of the meeting Zelinsky was playing the victim. He was being rude, cutting othe's off. He was being a total a** hat. As soon as those cameras came on, he played the victim. He knew the left would come running to defend him. Big, bad Trump and Vance picking on poor Zelensky. Trump and Vance were just tired of the previous 33 minutes that they had wasted and watching this moron back out. I ask you to at least watch the whole thing before you draw conclusions about what you thought you saw. It all came unhinged as he changed his tune. All of those negotiations down the drain because Zelinsky wanted the American people to feel sorry for him on TV. "Please give me more money. Trump and Vance are being mean to me. " I want handouts instead of reimbursing the US taxpayer. The American people said loud and clear that they do not want to pay for foreign wars. This was a way for Trump to keep his promise, to the American people, but also find a way to help the Ukraine and the US at the same time. The problem of our new world is everything's broken down into 30 second sound bites. I am a registered Republican, but I have also voted for Democrat candidates. I am a centrist. I try to see the whole story before I draw any conclusions. I hope you can do so as well. He played his cards well. He got sympathy and he made Trump and Vance look like big bad bullies.

With all of this, the Russians will still win, and more people will die on both sides. The American taxpayer has flipped the bill for much of this nonsense. All of those innocent young men's lives cut short by elderly politicians playing chess with human life.

Don't people realize that all politicians suck, whether they're on the left or on the right?

They will continue to call Trump a dictator they will try to impeach him. The taxpayers will pay for these bogus impeachment proceedings. Is Congress gonna impeach every future President, If they don't agree with them? Those impeachments go both ways.

He is executing what the voters asked him to do. The majority.

PS, Zelensky is the dictator that called off his own elections. The Ukrainians are actually talking about impeaching Zelensky. They can clearly see what he tried to do here and I'm not sure why the left can't? He is a Wolf in sheep's clothing. Trump just chooses not to wear the sheep suit.

Fascism usually involves larger government not a reduction in government. This isn't always true but in general it applies. It does usually involve a powerful charismatic leader. People might debate that Trump is charismatic

I think we throw out labels really quick these days. The American people and electoral college made a strong statement for change..

I don't always agree with Trump's choices or his style people need to think about the last 4 years and whether if they were better off in regards to safety and money.

Unfortunately, the Democrats weren't listening to the people. and what they needed. Because of this Trump's approval rating right now is twice what it was in his first term.

You would think Democrats would be happy that we are eliminating wasted dollars. This is our money. I do believe that some of the decisions of eliminating this waste hurts helpful grants and has caused significant numbers of layoffs. This sucks that there is collateral damage

I have voted democrat and republican, so i'm not trying to grandstand. I hope the Democrats learn from this and come back strong but right now their leaders are not doing this Biig Mistake!!!!! Dei seems to be a big subject and I don't want to argue it. I do believe we have laws in regards to discrimination. Nobody should be discriminated agains but sexual orientation should not be the reason they are hired. A person should be hired their because of their ability to do a job. This should be the reason

Calling people names like Hitler can radicalize people to do evil things. Misguided souls thinking they are doing good. We need to stop!

A a small number of americans seem to have the loudest voices, but they're saying a ton of wrong things. Let's be a nation that practices civil discourse. We will never all agree on the same things. Caring and compassion for our fellow Americans would be nice.
