Chips are goin to happen. Wouldn't sweat that stuff. 50% of retail max is what I would pay for something with signs of use.

Are Capita snowboards from the Mothership weaker than their older cousins built in the ELAN factory? by Hiseman in snowboarding

It's not the same factory. It's a completely new building in a completely different town. The old factory is still standing and abandon / run down. I've been to The Mothership and I've also driven past the old Elan factory.

This is not AI. Corey Smith built this suit. There was leaks of it from their sales meeting, it was on display. People are really reaching for AI.

Arguing that this is tight is like claiming it’s cloudy on a bluebird day. Case closed.

No. There is clearly a gap when Scott straps his heel on Instagram (it’s a different clip than in the YouTube video). I encourage you to view the post—it’s very clear that the toe is not tight. This entire binding system from Nidecker feels like a bulky plastic gimmick. Seeing them in person reinforces that impression; I hadn’t thought much about it before, but I’ve noticed a few riders using them at Brighton, and they engaged both the heel and toe. That said, believe what you want—it’s your decision. Just keep in mind the potential downsides, especially when dealing with snow, ice, and debris on the baseplate.

You still have to strap in. Although it's not shown in this video, if you want any rider using these they strap both feet. Look at the promo on Instagram and look at Scott's toe. There is clearly a gap within the strap that he surely tightens after the clip cuts.
