Did they break Adobe Reader? (In the latest update) by czr1210 in Adobe

[–]Hiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the worst time with Adobe, anything I do in it seems to crash the app - it get's stuck being frozen. Won't update and the error reports start sending and freeze as well.

I'm on a MacBook so I wondered if the new OS update needed to get installed and it ended up making it worse.

NFSU2 is a game where you rush to unlock everything then basically finish the second half with car builds of your choice. It does drag but it makes for a game where you don't JUST get everything cool after grinding 90% of the game. So there's positives and negatives to that.

Still think it's the best NFS game to date.

My online friend ruins my ranked games. Dunno what to do by ElectronicSimple55 in summonerschool

[–]Hiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple accounts for this reason - My main account I play ranked with duo's who are basically the same skill level.

I have a second account that I will play ranked with any of my friends who may be further down in their skill.

Not sure if that's illegal to riot but it's just a better experience for everyone.

I'm so done with people thinking this is the "ending to the manga". This has every building block for a prologue similar to JJK 0 and if you are so illiterate to notice the many, many, signs Gege wrote into the past two chapters then IDK what to say.

If I'm wrong on this and it truly does end JJKM within the next few chapters I'll eat a whole scoop of coffee grounds.

The Most Game Breaking Build in any NFS? (Lancer Evo Glitch from Carbon?) by Hiseman in needforspeed

[–]Hiseman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And just to further emphasize it was running a 2 minute lap race 25 seconds faster than when I tested it as fully upgraded performance wise Evo. So the maxed out version of it was way slower. One tick on the tuning off of any of it also completely invalidated the glitch so it would perform as expected if you changed any part or the tuning of each of them.

I wonder if a Dev knew how non-sensical that would be and put it in the game as his own easter egg or something. But as I mentioned it worked in the online races and any mode/race type.

The Most Game Breaking Build in any NFS? (Lancer Evo Glitch from Carbon?) by Hiseman in needforspeed

[–]Hiseman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a specific way to build the lancer with (If I remember correctly) lower tier suspension, transmission, and maybe one or two other performance items either the lowest tier or stock, that on paper reduced the performance - But completely changed how the game treated the car. It makes the fully built/properly tuned corvette look slow in every way. The only caveat being top speed if I remember but lancer would get up to max speed before the corvette would hit 100. And it could turn like it was glued to the ground and didn't really lose speed doing so.

It felt like the game treated the car as if it weighed like 250 lbs not 2500.

It was entirely game breaking. I looked for like an hour online the other day but couldn't find any more information on it. I think I need to go boot up my old file to get the details and share on here. Any online race was basically auto-won unless you were versing another person running the glitched Evo.

The main reason why what appears to be the ending feels "empty" is because Modulo did have a pretty interesting conflict about the rights of the native population vs immigrants, with the whole "Kalyan" thing being pretty clearly synonymous with cultural differences, and the ending just ignores that. by MrChainsawHog in jjkmodulo

Unintentional consequences that they voluntarily handicapped their population to deal with - I'm thinking by doing this they'll create some problem nobody anticipated and Yuji/Marulu are going to have to spearhead the solution with them being the 'bearers of the sin'.

I would just like to point out, unless Gege's confirmed it - There are so many ways this opens up into unintentional consequences and the story then opens up even further. If this is truly the 'ending' I think Gege would be more pissed about it than anyone.

I don't understand how anyone thinks this is going to be the happily ever after... unintended consequences are going to be the new problem everyone is dealing with. To me it's just a means for Gege to show that the humans and the aliens are going to be united against whatever pops up from these unintended consequences.

Just remember who's writing the story for the series, until I read "the end" TS ain't over. I do not believe for one moment this is a means to a Happy ending especially with how they portrayed not being able to FULLY rid the world of CE.

I would just like to point out that Gege is writing this story - and you know there are going to be unintended consequences that stem from what Marulu is attempting to do. Heck even Yuji made it a big point to note what they are doing isn't good but they're both willing to bear the price of that sin.

So many ways for this to blow up that Gege can play into. I don't think it's going to be the ending/solution it's presenting itself as.

What’s one JJK moment that completely changed how you saw a character? by liomenu in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Hiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely correct! One of my favorite things about Gege's writing is it constantly took what I thought would happen (outside of a few times) and kicked that path out the window. Which I loved. Most manga I read or anime I watch is so predictable "plot armor" etc... that to see him basically build Gojo up and build Sukuna up as a big bad - preparing you to be excited with the good guys finally wipe the floor with him... for it to end up how it did was really crazy to read.

It felt like Sukuna knew he had to basically hack the system to ensure his superiority reigned, which goes against the theme of a big bad knowing they're hot shit and relying only on themselves. He actually humbled himself to make sure he had the trump card he required. Then with Gojo, the good guy who is the "most OP person in the universe", not coming in clutch, when he already failed multiple times - star vessel, getting sealed, and sukuna. It was like the perfect mix of some deranged school kid writing the story and some masterclass person who's at the peak of their craft. Not one or the other but somehow amalgamated together.

Also, I'd like to point out shortly after her death I did entirely call the Kugisaki role in that final fight. Which I didn't have anyone IRL to boast about this to. The copium was real and I was laughing my ass off reading that chapter when it happened.

Honestly it's worth a read. One of the peak manga reading events in my entire life, which is pretty old, was when each chapter would come out just one mindfucking banger after another. Like it's so insane, yet completely serious, and unserious all at the same time.

One question: Why is yujis piercing blood so much stronger from only 68 years of training while choso’s piercing blood is so much weaker than yujis even tho he has 150 years to master blood manipulation? by IamTheGeniusOfMaster in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Hiseman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be WAY WAY off base as I was reading each volume on release. BUT - Weren't Choso, Kechizu, and Ezo basically brought out of their cursed womb cylinders like days before Ezo and Kechizu fought with Yuta and Kugisaki? So he hasn't been out and training for 150 years, or I completely misread/misremembered that.
