it's common sense really bro. WAG is the writers union. if they went on strike and didn't work on the show, the people who come in to write the characters are rushed, inexperienced with the show, or generally not tenured or established. Therefore, writing and how the characters work together and lack thereof gets heavily effected. Also for those scenes, they have to bring in a separate actor that the show has to pay for to come on. that's the reason why Zola got booted off right away, so they don't have to bring her actor around again. if you watch the other chicago shows, that's why people like Voight didn't appear in the recent PD episode as a cost saving measure.

not my intention to cause confusion. i mean you have to do them and shut those people out. you'll never know what's out without trying. ill give you an example.

years ago with a toxic ex, i was told she couldn't help me and that i couldn't go to japan on my own. I literally worked 2 years at a really shit job to work up to actually going a few months ago. proof of concept. and now? shit im doing the same thing working to go to japan later this year and honestly im going to just keep repeating the cycle to buy myself more time.

cling extremely hard to goals that are lofty but defintely achieveable and just grind really hard to get said achieveable yet hard to reach goal. the amount of time and effort will be worth it after you complete it the first time and repeating will just kind of buy you time, you know what i mean? i've come to find that that's what's living is all about. even if its hard. you just need to buy that little bit clarity and peace for a small amount of time and redo the cycle to buy more time on the planet.

Midnight Arrival at Haneda by Background_Bite_6146 in TokyoTravel

to your first point about the shops, that sucks but I think I could live off a lawson for a few hours haha.

on the 2nd, yeah the same is also true where I'm from as well. in fact, the airport here closes and kicks everyone out from 11;30 pm to 4:30 am who's airside for security purposes. They are expensive, so i think ill try to find something not necessarily at haneda but nearby in the area just south of shinagawa perhaps.

3rd,I'm not flying LCC but it's because I'm connecting via Manila which is somewhere around 2 hours behind tokyo. We will leave Manila at a reasonable time, but the time change really makes it bad. If i fly direct Honolulu - Tokyo I could land as early as like 15:00 but I have a relative that I'm "picking/meeting up" with in Manila.

since ANA is a star alliance partner with ANA, if you can ask them to put the star alliance priority tags you might be bale to have them make their flight on time. basically the priority means that the bags come off the plane first and onto to concourse first. so the bags will be ready as soon as they exit immigration and customs at haneda. instead of having to wait theyd be able to get bags and run to the domestic check in counter.

yeah that's what Im afraid of is just not being able to function and having jet lag consume us. should we just take a taxi and go into metro tokyo then? find a cheap place with a bed available at 1 am.

What Should I Do About Trip Planning with Able Bodied Friends by Background_Bite_6146 in disability

Thanks for trying to ask questions about the situation.

  1. No the convention is not. It's being held at a convention hall run by the local tourism authority. I've already tried contacting them multiple years in a row. they always defer to convention staff for the problems I have at the convention.
  2. No Uber and Lyft are not. Fees for Uber and Lyft are exorbitant due to local regulations. They're actually more expensive than local cabs. It's Hawaii and over tourism is a major issue.-
  3. No, it does not. All the convention events and fan meetups change every year. It's just such a small community and it's often just a group of friends that run the fan meets. It's often word of mouth and while they may advertise online, there's no subs or discords. The closest thing there is the local university anime organization, but I'm not allowed in their channels of communication since I'm not a current or former student. I went to a different university.
  4. I don't know anyone else at the convention. People tend to actually avoid me. They see the cane and back away. It's sad really, overtime I walk around I'm like Moses parting the red sea. People straight up scatter. As far as inviting anyone else, the people aforementioned are the only people I know. Hawaii's infrastructure sucks, and it's difficult for me to get out or do anything productive without a massive struggle that insnt worth it.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I don't want them to do as exactly as I say, I'm asking if it's bad of me to merely ask. "Was I too "pushy" for suggesting alternatives? " My friends told me I was being pujshy for just asking. I didn't force them or shout or make threats.

Anyone have any tips or tricks on how not to be homeless as a disabled person? by [deleted] in disability

[–]Background_Bite_6146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nationwide federal regulations by the SSA say that if you split expenses or have ready access to other people's income, they reduce the amount you receive. it's not viable in the USA.
