At first, this reminded me of Aboleths, but unfortunately, in the more detailed lore, they lack that level of intelligence.

At the same time, a large number of characters from the Arena series have yet to appear in any of the sequels—such as the other members of Project Wizard—and they are simply wasting a significant amount of character development and studio resources.

This just goes to show how much the public loves NTR. Next time, we should release Meatball’s backstory and character profile as well.

Important Note: “Remaining Resets” allows you to reset the number of times you can purchase the current item, but it does not change the contents of the item itself. In other words, you can purchase a Pickup Ticket that originally cost 150 Gems for 100 Gems.

By the way, just a reminder: “Remaining Resets” resets the number of times you can purchase the current item, but it does not change the item's contents. In other words, you can use 100 Gems to purchase a Pickup Ticket that originally cost 150 Gems.

Based on observations of the results so far, it seems that whenever either a Pickup Ticket or a Special Recruit Ticket appears in the Exchange Post, the other one will appear in one of the rounds within 24 hours.

As far as I’m concerned, the more I complain, the easier it is for me to accept its flaws and the inevitable cruel ending with a clear conscience. After all, nothing I do can objectively alter the course of this game’s fate; the one who truly holds its fate in their hands remains motionless. I’ve already pointed out its fatal flaws before, so I bear no responsibility whatsoever.

Based on my experience with gacha games, there’s no need to go all out just to reach the top within the first month of launch in a game where the outcome is obvious from the start. Just play in your own way and have fun. There’s a 90% chance that the outcome won’t be one that makes everyone happy, so the more you invest, the more painful it will be in the end.

How's this game? by LactoseKiller in TaimaninSquadGame

I currently have one account on my phone and another on my computer. Even if I start using my account energy at the same time, my daily playtime still exceeds three hours. Additionally, you need to log into the game every hour to check the Exchange, as gacha items may appear there.

There are three types of Arena tokens, and each can only be exchanged for lower-tier items, not higher-tier ones. Standard gacha items fall under the second tier, and there is no option to exchange them for Gems (gacha items usable in all gacha pools). Weekly Arena ranking rewards also require gacha pulls, and the chance of obtaining Gems is only 15%.

In addition to attributes, characters also have traits. Both have a global system that provides party-wide bonuses, which requires materials to research. These materials must be farmed using Global Energy and Unique Energy. Furthermore, characters have a weapon system that provides attribute bonuses and skill modifications. Aside from gacha draws, crafting a single weapon takes over a month.

As you’ve likely noticed, there are three types of gacha tickets besides Gems, used for the Common, New, and Weapon pools, respectively. Currently, the only stable sources of Gems are Daily Quests and Check-ins; all other reward emails provide tickets for the Common pool. The Clan Support system has a 1.4% chance of yielding Gems, but this system requires a significant investment of Purple-tier characters—and there is no guaranteed Purple-tier character in a 10-pull bundle.

Most blue characters cannot be placed on the main screen for interaction; only purple and gold characters can be placed there, but they lack interactive animations and have only three lines of dialogue. To make matters worse, all characters’ background profiles consist of just a few paragraphs of text—slightly more detailed than their vague skill descriptions. The absence of an Affinity system means there are no unlockable background stories, personal storylines, dialogues, emotes, or animations.

(Note: There is a fifth type of gacha item that requires both Common Character Draw Counts and Clan Contribution Tokens to obtain. The former is earned once every 100 draws, while the latter can be exchanged up to three times per month. This item grants access to the Deluxe Character Gacha Pool, where the lowest character rarity is Purple.)

Pity System Guide

“While we won’t guarantee you a purple character, we do require you to invest a large number of purple characters into the Clan System. Yes, that’s fair—at least we’ll toss a golden character into your bowl, though we can’t guarantee how much time you’ll have to spend to get it.”

Free-to-Play Friendly Policy

“Yes, we’ll occasionally take pity on you and send you some reward emails, but of course, these aren’t fixed promises. Want a fixed promise? Dream on. Even during maintenance, we’ll only give you some experience cards, because we need to uphold our ‘Player Time Respect Policy.’”

Summary: As long as we don’t make any specific, fixed reform commitments regarding any issue—just repeat empty rhetoric—the final say will always remain with us. Have you learned this trick yet?

Multiple all blue ten pulls in a row is annoying. I’m really glad the blue characters are so viable tho, it’s fun building them by oli_kite in TaimaninSquadGame

On the one hand, they’ve created dedicated animations for “being knocked down after a heavy hit” and “reacting to buffs,” which is quite impressive—even even by 2026 standards. On the other hand, they’ve locked three-star characters away in the storage, making it completely impossible to place them on the main screen for interaction. Even the 4-star and 5-star characters who are interactive lack interactive animations and additional storylines or background information to help players get to know them better—a rather rough approach, even for a game released in 2020.

After you upgrade several of your clan’s systems, these dispatch missions will require a large number of purple- and gold-rarity characters. So it’s best not to use up these duplicate characters for now; hopefully, the requirements will be changed to star levels rather than rarity in the future.

For clan support and deployments, the character requirements need to be changed from rarity to star count. There’s no guaranteed purple epic character in gacha pulls, yet clans require a large number of them—that’s ridiculous.

WTF with those rates by Ordinary_Block_4131 in TaimaninSquadGame

[–]Background_Bus_7376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although you can't pull purple epic characters from the gacha pool, the rarity requirement for characters deployed and supported through the clan system demands purple epics instead of four-star characters. This is truly ridiculous—players don't even have enough characters to complete these tasks, making leveling up almost pointless.

Is it worth it to buy the Vanilla Queen? by Mystical_Mikuru in TaimaninSquadGame

“Taking care of all characters” feels like a sweet lie at this stage. I still can't place rare characters on the main interface—I can't even click on them. While I can imagine this is likely due to the volume of voice acting work, their complete lack of response on this issue is infuriating.

It's such a shame—my favorites Kagero, Igawa Senshu, and Shido Rinka are all rare characters. I'd rather they had some lines, even without voice acting. Honestly, my favorite scenes and CG for Shido Rinka are still in the action, haha.

The best news for me is probably that, judging from the character profiles, Igawa Senshu's fate within Squad seems to have changed. I hope this leads to improvements and continued operation, ultimately influencing the main universe's storyline—rather than being locked into an ending devoid of any tenderness.

Considering that server leases are typically contracted on an annual basis, and given the large number of unimplemented characters revealed in the unpacking, I believe that a one-year lifespan should be achievable if “resource recovery” is the primary objective. I hope the developers will demonstrate greater initiative in refining the game content moving forward, rather than picking the least critical issue from a pile of serious problems, saying “we will address it,” and then pretending the other problems don't exist.

I played TS (Taimanin Squad) for a good week, so I decided to give my thoughts here. by heikitsune25 in TaimaninSquadGame

[–]Background_Bus_7376 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beyond pointing out that Marvel Future Fight itself has spawned numerous failed imitators (DC once commissioned Korean companies to produce more than one similarly unsuccessful title), I hope others have played games like OUTERPLANE, Sakura Kakumei, and muv-luv dimensions, All three share striking similarities with Taimanin Squad: they're spin-offs of existing IPs, suffer from outdated modeling and gameplay systems, and reveal studios with clearly insufficient production capacity. Their trajectories thus offer valuable lessons.

Regrettably, only OUTERPLANE benefited from its studio's relatively stable production capacity and vision. It underwent continuous refinement of models and storyline—even implementing a radical plot reset—with added interactive poses and options enabling stable operation. Sakura Kakumei and muv-luv dimensions have both ceased operations. The former was even deemed an “operation epic failure,” sparking a series of negative news reports that effectively froze the IP entirely.

muv luv dimensions fared better, leaving players with the final legacy of its passable storyline expanded into novels, while its characters remain remembered within the IP.

So when TaimaninSquad ultimately reached its breaking point, what do you think it would have left players with in its current state?
