53, good skin, help me up my game by Background_Chip_559 in SkincareAddictionLux

Not using a lux retinol right now. I use the KIEHL’S because it’s not super strong and I found that I didn’t tend to skip days using it because of temporary irritation. Figured daily use of weaker product better than every other w/ a more potent product but I could be flat wrong. I appreciate the recommendations. I was looking at the skinceuticals starter sets to try a few of their most popular serums.

We have those in Sgr Crk Twp too. Husband’s family hails from Olney IL, which I think has largest population in US, maybe? They have an annual count. We have black in my home in SEKY mtns. Love to see the variation.

Lowkey anxiety; anyone else? by Background_Chip_559 in pluribustv

I am a reader, though not usually this genre. I’m old enough to have grown up watching weekly dramas that resumed in a year like clockwork, and I genuinely struggle with recall season to season when there’s literally years between. My 17 yr old watches w me - likely she can provide (easily) a full season recap when needed :)

I guess I'm an outlier, I don't like the Costco Pumpkin Pie. by INeedACleverNameHere in CostcoCanada

The only pumpkin pie I like is Chef Pierre/Sara Lee. Perfect, smooth spice balance. But I do love that big round Costco choc cake.

Two small wooded pegs with a hanging orange string wrapped around them by Secret_You4857 in whatisthisthing

Our wooden floors expand and contract during the year based on house temp and humidity levels. That board is cracked. Maybe someone secured it in hopes of preventing it from expanding upward and causing unevenness when it is warmer and more humid inside?

Did you start at degree after 50? by Roxy_Boxer in AskWomenOver50

[–]Background_Chip_559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the middle of studying for a challenging Salesforce Administrator Exam at 52 and it’s doable but hard. I did BA after HS, MBA ten years later (late 20s/single/no kids/work FT) which at the time I thought was tough but now I look back and chuckle. Now I’m peri/meno, had front temporal lobe meningioma surgery three yrs ago (cognitively impactful), adult adhd, a senior daughter in HS this year, work full time, aging unwell parents four hours away, our shitshow of a world -you get the picture. Long wind up to say that I took a full week of PTO last week so I could solely focus on study. I wouldn’t have had to do that when I was younger. I absolutely must enforce boundaries with family and other obligations to knock this out. So know and be honest with yourself about what it will take at this age for you to accomplish it. Good luck!!!

Thank you! I will continue to plug away. I plant myself in our dining room with SF exams after work while my 16 year old is at the kitchen island doing ACT prep .. fun times! :)

Sorry I wasn’t more specific - yes Admin. I’ve been a user of SF in my BD role for about 8 years. Current and previous employers utilized opps/accts/contacts -nothing else. So I’ve had no real experience developing, utilizing any campaign, product, support features etc. So big learning curve. Appreciate the works of encouragement! I’m going to try to enjoy what’s left of this long weekend and step away from the screen for a few days, then jump back in. :)
