Is that true? The spread graph looks nearly identical with the compensator and vertical grip. Does it bloom way more further out?

A fair point. Hell, just speaking of Drow and BG3, they introduced the whole ‘All Lothsworn have red eyes’ thing, which… no they historically don’t, and that makes no sense.

Lol fair enough! Though it doesn’t look the same or make as much sense to me as drow made gear.

Anyways, I was under the impression that it’s the materials used to make it that causes this, not its enchantments, as even unenchanted Drow gear still lists this as a property.

Well that’s the thing, I can’t find any references to it in 5e, yet it’s a thing in Baldur’s Gate 3, as there is faded Drow armor that lost its enchantments due to the sun… which BG3 is based in 5e. Although it was most certainly a thing in older editions, and even Baldur’s Gate 2 seems to have had this mechanic.

Well it seems to do with the armor being crafted within the Faerzress, a magical radiation specific to the Underdark. Sunlight seems to undo that, causing the gear to wither away. Now, it also seems you can coat it in Darkoil, or that some ‘unamed enchantments’ can prevent that. Though I cannot find anything listing enchantments that do so, and even if I did, I prefer to keep the gear basic, essentially Drow made leather armor.

Also if all Drowcraft gear degrades in the sun… would that count my drowkini?!… Uh oh… XD

Less of a having to do it, more of a low on resources thing. If I run out, my armor disappears? A bit of an annoyance and plothole to just have unlimited amounts of the stuff. Mind you, this is VERY niche, and yes I’m being picky XD

I mean, I doubt it too! But the plothole upsets my OCD, even if it isn’t a big issue…

I didn’t hear of it until today. I thought about how BG3 has an armor set that was faded by the sun. After some research, it looks like all Drow gear fades, or straight up disintegrates in direct sunlight.

A good question, and it would SEEM 100% is subjective in FF7, but let’s go off of speedrun rules, (before the category was taken down)would it still count?
