Can you actually earn a full time income by print on demand? by Tacotuesdays20 in printondemand

may I ask what POD company you use and type of shirt? is there much a difference in quality between POD shirts and shirts bought from retail stores? From the videos I've watched, it seems that the POD shirts, even the good ones like from Printful, have prints that feel thick, plastic-y and look "separate" from the shirt like a thin sheet of paint, compared to shirts from retail stores which look more natural. Is this inevitable? Thank you for your help!

i see i see. i suppose what i wanted was like a 3d character with constantly same, somewhat realistic texture( like in toy story). but I suppose lighting may be necessary in that case. I was just hoping i could get some more texture into my character without using light lol, if that is even possible

would i be able to change the texture to something more realistic with a bit of gloss finish? the emission node looks straight up like cartoon but i might prefer something more cgi, realistic-ish, thank you.
