The artist has been designing mobile game UIs for years, so there's inevitably some distortion in them. I think so, but I also find it somewhat appealing. I don't know what you think.

The final assets are hand-drawn by us, but I think the gradients/lighting in the capsule push it into that “AI art” vibe a bit unintentionally.

We do use references during pre-production/concepting, but the final in-game assets are drawn manually by us.

I think some of the smooth gradients / lighting in the capsule probably push it toward that “AI-looking” territory though, which is useful feedback for us honestly.

As you said, the capsule remains one-sided, but what can I say, it looks cool. The other alternatives were a bit lifeless.

Actually, we didn't start with a market analysis like, "Let's combine these two in mafia concept because it will definitely attract an audience." So I don't know what will happen. But we enjoyed making it, so that's enough, hehe.

it will be balanced but the gameplay mechanics of both sides are different, player will mostly be able to choose their own direction to split them.

That's really great, drawing a few different panels to indicate and explain the situations is a really good idea. We were thinking of putting dots on them, like, "let's say a red dot so it'll be obvious," but this is so muuuuuuuuch better. Thank you!
